I totally oversleep. Maybe it was the s*x. Maybe it was all the worrying. But I crashed hard and when I woke up, sunlight was streaming through the hotel room’s curtains.
And Finn is gone.
I sit up, stomach knotting. Something brushes my hand and I look down. There’s a note lying on the bed next to me and I swallow, forcing myself to pick it up and read Finn’s slanting handwriting:

Killed me to leave you, but I had to go in to the office. Take your time today. I booked the hotel room for as long as you want it. Stay, enjoy. There’s an open tab at the spa downstairs. Please do something for yourself. Massage, manicure, pedicure. Whatever you want.
