Sitting on bench on a bright sunny day her eyes were gloomy. They lost the spark a month ago but today was not like the past month.
Tears pouring down like rain onto her lap.
She tried to calm down but could not do it.
It was like a fate had taken a sharp turn towards a life she never wished for.
'Krystine' A small boy called.
Krystine's pov
I was so overwhelmed because of everything happening around.
That I did not have any sense about my surroundings.
Until my little brother cane called out my name.Quickly wiped off my tears and turned to him with a smile.
His eyes told that he knew my smile was not from my heart but being the mature one for a 7 year old he did not say anything.
He simply came and hugged me tight.
"Wasn't this supposed to be the other way around" I thought while embracing him.
Today we both lost our mother who was the only parent left.
We lost dad when Kane was in my mother's womb. He never saw his dad. He died in a car accident and mom was devastated.
I don't know how I managed it all being just a 10 year old girl by then.
But somehow I did.
After dad mum and I were each other's backbone. Handling everything together.
We were just best friends living together. even after Kane we both were his mother.
And he was that little ray of sunshine in our lives which is enough to lighten up our whole world.
Mom had cancer, last stage when we got to know about it.
We still tried every treatment inspite of knowing that it's chance to work were minimal.
But still we did.
I was living in a bubble where it all happens according to our wish. Where world is only a happy place.
But trust me when that bubble bursts. Your world shatters into pieces which cannot be remolded.
