Ava I followed Cleo upstairs and into her bedroom. The first thing I noticed was the books. They were everywhere. Some were stacked neatly on the desk, others were scattered across the floor, and a few were piled beside her bed. I smiled. Of course. The girl who could practically recite an entire Biology textbook from memory had books covering half her bedroom. Despite that, the room itself was surprisingly tasteful. There weren’t many decorations or personal touches. Nothing extravagant. It almost felt as though she hadn’t completely settled in yet.
