The sun seemed to shine ever so brighter than it usually did since I became liberated of Nikolai, not even a week passed and I already felt like a new woman, ready to do things I have never done before. Cedric too appeared differently, he looked younger, happier, and more energetic, perhaps he too was a slave to Nikolai, it wouldn’t be surprising considering he is the dark lord, but with him in the past, we can now explore these feelings to the best of our abilities.
In my chambers, I awaited Camile’s arrival with breakfast, it was insisted that I consider my health by eating much to replenish my strength due to all the drama I had been through recently, to not argue with Cedric I did as I was told, even though I don’t like to overindulge.
