Chapter 6: KiaraKiara looked at her phone for the hundredth time in the past hour. Geri had promised she’d text when she was leaving the garden center. She couldn’t give a definite closing time because of her dedication. That is, there was a posted closing time, but she had stated apologetically that she never hurried customers out.
