How did Greg take my success? Well, or so it seemed, at first. He loved me, after all; he wanted me to be happy; he wanted me to be successful; we both wanted happiness and success — not just for ourselves, for each other. He attended my publisher’s book launch party in Manhattan, at a place called Blue Smoke, a trendy barbecue joint down in the Flatiron district. I even signed a copy of my book for him.
