In addition to reading all my brother’s emails and text messages, studying his calendar, reading (and re-reading) his published books as well as his outlines, notes for and drafts of various works-in-progress I found in various Google Drive folders, as part of my reconnaissance I read many of my father’s books and papers too. In many ways he and my brother were more alike, more “twinned,” than Greg and I had been.
