Waking up, I realized Ash is not next to me. He must be in his office again. It’s only been a week since I’ve been here and it honestly feels like I’ve been here longer. Everyone has treated me like family and it’s been so long since I’ve had one. I get up to go get a shower when I hear my phone go off.
Ethan: where are you? I haven’t heard from you in almost a week. Look, I’m sorry about what happened at the restaurant and after but can you please let me know you are alive and where you are before I file a missing persons report.
The nerve of this man. He waited almost a week to text me to see if I was okay. Just shows he gives no shits about me.
Me: I’m fine. You don’t need to know where I am. We are no longer together nor am I coming back.
I officially decided I was going to stay here. I believe things happen for a reason. What are the odds I find myself on an abandoned road and it leads me to find someone that I’m destined to be with. Who am I to go against my god and the moon goddess? They wouldn’t lead me down a path I shouldn’t be on, right?
I showered and headed down to the kitchen. “Hey Janet, has Ash had breakfast?”
“Hey Luna, he has not. Would you like to make him something?”
“Yes, the pancakes I made for him the other day . I decided to surprise him by letting him know I decided to stay!” She looked at me, her eyes becoming glossy.
“That is so wonderful. I’m so happy. You will make a fantastic Luna!”
“That’s another thing I wanted to ask you. I don’t know a thing about being a Luna.”
“Don’t you worry that dear, Ash’s mom has been Luna for quite a long time. She can help you through all of it, including your Luna ceremony!”
“Luna ceremony?”
“Yes you will have a ceremony all of the packs around will attend to celebrate you becoming our Luna and officially becoming apart of our pack.”
This seems like a lot, but I’m sure I can manage. I’ve dealt with public speaking. I had to in order to finish my courses at college. Being the center of attention for a night should be nothing right? Which reminds me I should get back to my classes if I want to graduate on time. Luckily, the rest are online!
I was walking up to Ash’s office and about to knock before I heard him tell me to come in.
“Good morning love. How did you sleep?”
“Good I brought you breakfast!” Putting the pancakes down on his desk.
“What’s the occasion?” He smiled while already digging into them.
“Does there have to be for me to make you breakfast?” I chuckled
“Of course not love. I wouldn’t mind you making this for me every morning”, shoving more of the pancake in his mouth.
“I’ll think about it. There is one thing I wanted to tell you though.” He looks up at me waiting for me to say something and suddenly I, nervous to even mention it.
“I-I have decided… I’m gonna stay. I’m not going to reject you.”
He stops mid bite and just stares at me. To bad mind, reading wasn’t a thing.
Ash’s P.O.V.
“Ash stop staring at her, you have to say something!” Blaze alerted me.
“You’re staying? With me? Does this mean you want to be with me?”
“I think we should take things as they go. I had just get dropped off like a week ago by my ex-boyfriend. But yes, I’m staying here with you!”
I don’t think I’ve ever heard more exciting news in my life!
“I can’t wait to see Tala!” Blaze purrs in my head .
“Blaze, who is Tala?”
He started fake coughing and blocked me. Who the hell is Tala?
“Would you like your own room or do you want to continue to stay in mine?” Hopefully she wants to stay in mine I sleep way better when she does.
“I’d rather stay in ours if that’s okay?”
Ours? She said the room was ours? I officially have my mate and Luna!
