His Not So Human Mate

Elina P.O.V.

“Come on Elina, there has to be something you like?”

Harlow and I have been dress shopping for hours. We leave tomorrow for the blood moon pack for the alpha ceremony.

“Let’s go into this store. No one ever walks out of here empty handed.”

“I don’t know, Harlow, this store is expensive.”

“We have Ash’s debit card. It’s not even going to make a dent, I promise!”

Walking around, I spotted a beautiful navy blue gown. I had to try it on immediately.

“Hey Elina, how about this….whoa.”

“Is it too much?”

“Absolutely not! You are going to have my brother weak at the knees with that dress. Elina, you have a smoking body!”

“I think I’m getting this one!”

“You think? No, we are buying you that one! Elina, you look so beautiful!”

“Am I overdressed?”

“Of course not. Trust me, there’s probably a bunch of alpha daughters who are showing much more skin trying to mate with alphas. A bunch of skanks if you ask me, only after power.”

I love Harlow. She’s definitely not afraid to speak her mind. She’s honestly breaking me out of my shell, which she promised was going to happen. I don’t mind it, though I know we’re going to be forever close. I’ve really never had a best friend. The only person I ever associated with was Ethan. I had problems making friends. I was afraid Ethan would think they were prettier than me and just leave. I can’t believe how much I put up with being with him now that I think about it. Now to think about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if he cheated.

“Done! You look so beautiful Elina! You’re about to put all them little skanks to shame! Especially Rebekah!”

I looked in the mirror and could barely recognize myself. Harlow definitely had some talent. She gave me a beautiful navy blue smoky-eye look that brought out my golden eyes. My hair was curled and pinned half up. It all matched my dress perfectly. I’ve never worn a dress with this much skin showing. It opened in the back down to the top of my butt and was laced down the sides and the front. The only part that was coved was the boob area.

“Who is Rebekah?”

“A little slut who thinks my brother will be her mate. She’s been after him for years and he has never wanted anything to do with her. He made it clear he was waiting for his mate and she started going around saying she was going to be our Luna. Can’t wait to see her face when you show up in Ash’s arms.”

Damnit more competition. Elina, breathe you have nothing to worry about. Ash explained the bond. There is no way he’s waited on you this whole time to just reject you.

Ash’s P.O.V.

Watching her walk down the stairs, I couldn’t help but drool over how beautiful she looked.

“Mate is so pretty.” Blaze purred in my head.

“That’s she does, Blaze.”

“Shut your mouth brother, you’re going to catch flies!” Harlow giggled.

“You look absolutely breathtaking love. There is no doubt you will outshine everyone there.”

“Thank you!” She looks so cute when she blushes.

“Alright everyone, let’s get this show on the road.”

Hopefully this goes quickly. One I don’t want to be anywhere near Rebekah and alpha Roman creeps me out. I cannot wait to cut ties with the pack in a few months.

“Alpha Andrew better keep his eyes off of mate.” Blaze growled in my head.

Alpha Andrew makes my blood boil. He doesn’t respect any female omega he comes across. He pretends to love them and promises the Luna position to them until they sleep with him ready to be marked and then throws them away like it’s nothing. I’ve heard he’s even slept with another alphas Luna. No respect for anyone besides his father. They are very quiet and whisper among themselves, looking at the underage omegas at alpha ceremonies and becoming of age ceremonies. That's when I suspected they had something to do with the missing she wolves. There has even been talk in the witches' coven that girls have come up missing. Once I get evidence I can take it to the council and officially get rid of this grimy pack. I'd been so deep in my thoughts I didn’t realize we were already here.

“Logan keep an eye on Andrew while we are there please." I mind linked.

“Already planed on it. I’ll be damned if he gets close to our Luna.”

“Chase keep an eye on Elina at all times please.” Chase was the best gamma anyone could ask for.

“Yes sir.”
