Pancakes,Boss,Moongoddess?

Still Elina’s P.O.V.

As I woke up, I reached over to find the bed empty. I was kind of sad, but mostly because last night felt like a dream. I got up to go jump in the shower when I realized there was a note taped to the bathroom door.

“Elina I had to step into the office

After your shower, go downstairs.

and eat breakfast and join me in

my office when you are done?

Love, Ash.”

I took a quick shower then headed downstairs to see Janet working. “Good morning Janet!” as I pulled a stool out.

“Good morning Luna, what can I make for you?”

“Whatever you cook is fine! Ummm Janet, how did you know that I was Ash’s mate?”

“Ash never brings a girl around. We’ve also never seen a girl by his side like you were. We only assumed it until we saw the beautiful setting at the lake last night. Omegas knows everything dear.” She winked.

“Let me help with breakfast?” I insisted.

“Oh dear you don’t have to do that, you're the Luna we make breakfast for you!”

“It will be my pleasure. I love cooking! Has Ash eaten yet?”

“He did not. I was gonna have another omega take him breakfast once I was done.”

“An Even better reason for me to help. He gave me a perfect date last night. Let me make him breakfast!” I smiled.

“I think that would be a wonderful idea! What do you need?” She questioned.

“Everything to make pancakes and some strawberries!”

After making a lot of strawberry pancakes, I took some up to Ash in his office. As I brought my hand up to knock, I heard him yell to come in.

“How’d you know it was me?” I laughed.

“Your scent. You smell like vanilla and oatmeal cooking.” He said, taking his plate. “Ummm these are absolutely delicious, did Janet get a new recipe?”

“I actually made them!” Feeling my face get red. “You did so much for our date last night so I decided to make you breakfast!”

“You’re telling me you made these?” Shoving more of the pancakes in his mouth. “Is there any more?”

“No, but I can make them whenever you want them!” I laughed.

“That'd be perfect! So the reason I wanted you to come up here. I have an alpha ceremony I have to attend and I was wondering if you’d like to join me and Logan on it?”

“What’s an alpha ceremony?” I asked.

“So alphas are born into the ranks, Alpha Roman of Blood Stone Pack is retiring and his son is taking his place. It’s technically mandatory for all alphas to attend and it’s a good way for unmated alphas or betas to find their mate.”

“I’d love to attend with you. When is it?” Thinking I might have to take a trip back to my place for some more clothes. I didn’t want to spend his money so I just let Harlow pick me out a few things.

“In two weeks. You’ll have plenty of time to get some clothes!” Like he was reading my mind. “You ready to go see our construction company?” Ours ? Like mine and his?

“Yes!” Cheerfully agreed.

As we pulled up to this large modern skyscraper-type building, I couldn’t help but awe at how large it was. He led me into the double doors and the place was beautiful.

“Good afternoon Mr. Blackwell!” A lady flirted behind the counter.

“Good afternoon Lindsey, this is Elina Bressett. She’s my new business partner and also your boss.” He winked at me.

“Good afternoon Miss. Bressett, it’s nice to meet you!” She said with a fake smile.

“Nice to meet you too!”

“Let me show you your office love.” I could feel her eyes burning on my back as Ash put his hand against it.

After we left and called it a night, I was tired, so we went straight to bed. Him putting his arm around me didn’t take much for me to pass out . I woke up lying on a soft patch of grass next to a beautiful waterfall. “Where am I?”

“Over here my child!” I’m with the moon goddess again? “It’s been a few days, I just wanted to check in. So how are you?”

“I’m good, but I still don’t understand what is going on?”

“All in good time, my dear . Have you experienced the tingles yet?” I looked up at her with a shocked face.

“I take it that you have” she chuckles. “The symbol I’ve placed behind your ear will slowly bring you closer to the mate bond I’ve placed with you and Ash, once you mate is when the excitement comes”, she places my hand in hers. “But it’s also going to bring trouble.”

“I’m confused. Why is there going to be trouble?”

“Not all of my children are good. There are some dangers out there among them. You’ll understand more as your bond grows and once you get your wolf.”

“Will it hurt? To get my wolf?”

“Shifting to her the first time yes but don’t you worry, I hand picked her just for you and she will be really patient with you when the time comes. I can’t tell you much more. You and your wolf will have to figure out some things on your own. But remember to trust in your mate bond with Ash. You will both have to trust each other. I’m rooting on you both to do good things.”
