Ash’s P.O.V.

As we finish eating, I know Elina is strongly thinking about the whole Luna thing but she’s still wearing a smile on her face, so hopefully she’s okay with it. Just as I was about to ask her a question, my dad mind linked me.

“Ash, I’m sorry to take you away from your mate, but I need you in the office please?”

“I’ll be right there, dad give me 5 minutes.”

“Ummm Elina, are you willing to stay for a few days?” I asked nervously.

“I think I could spare a few days!” She chuckled. She’s so breathtaking. What was wrong with that Ethan dude's head? I could never let her go!

“I’m needed in the office but you are going to need some clothes. How about I send Harlow with my card and you two can go grab some clothes and I’ll meet up with you for dinner?” I asked.

“I wouldn’t want to spend your money.” She stated. “I could just stop at my place and grab some clothes and meet you back here later?” She smiled.

“That’ll work also, but I’m still giving Harlow my card to go out and get you a few things anyway, my treat. Harlow will meet you outside, I’ll see you tonight, love!” I whispered as I kissed her cheek.

I ran up to my office to see what was so urgent that I had to be pulled away from my mate. “What’s going on? Is it rogues again?” I asked my father.

“No, the blood stone pack is gaining a new alpha and has sent you an invitation to their ceremony.” He rolled his eyes as he told me.

The Blood stone pack is literally the worst pack. I don’t know how they are still a pack. There a very small pack 90 I think. The alpha, alpha Roman can be a real d**k to his staff and other pack members. His son's future alpha, Andrew, is no better.

“Great, the last place I want to be.” Their daughter just turned 18. Her eyes are glued to me everytime I go over. I’m sure she’s going to throw herself at me. Maybe I can take Elina. I don’t want to overwhelm her, but I also want all the she-wolves to know I’m off limits so they will leave me alone.

“You don’t have to be thrilled or talk to any of them. We are both still under the impression that they are the reason for the missing she-wolfs. I’ll accompany you if you’d like?” He is always wanting to do pack stuff even though he’s retired. I feel bad he gave it up to me before I found my mate, but mother wanted retirement time.

“Me and Logan can handle it, I’m sure. Let me give him a call and tell him I’ll be coming.” I said, giving my father the hint that he could leave.

As I start to pick up the phone to call, it starts to ring.

“Hello Alpha Ash speaking?”

“Alpha Ash, it’s alpha Roman. I was calling to see if you’d be making it to my son's alpha ceremony?”

“I was actually about to call with my R.S.V.P. We shall be attending.”

“Ohhhh we?”

“Yes, we. Me, my mate, and my bata.” I hope she comes. It’d make this a lot faster and smoother to sit through.

“You found your mate? Excellent. Well, I can’t wait to meet the lovely girl! I’ll see you soon, Alpha Ash!”

“Thank you for the invitation, alpha Rowan. I’ll see you soon!”

“That man doesn’t get near mate!” Blaze growled in my head.

“That I agree blaze!”

I mind linked Harlow to see how much time I have left. I want to make tonight’s dinner special.

“You got plenty of time bro.” She giggled.

Well, I’m glad they are having a nice day.

I mind linked Logan. “Hey, can you come up to my office? I need some help to set up this dinner date?”

“Absolutely, I’m on my way!”

“So, basically she fell in love with the lake and that’s where I showed her blaze. I want to have a dinner out here and have lights around the lake for a late night swim and maybe a projector for a movie. How does that sound?”

“Who knew you could be so romantic!” Logan chuckled. “But it sounds great buddy, I’m sure she will love it!”

Logan has been my best friend since we were pups. I knew he’d be willing to help to do whatever I could to make Elina feel comfortable and I just want her to stay and hopefully she does, but in the end it is her choice.

Alpha Roman P.O.V.

Can someone find me omega Jess! I screamed from my office. What’s the point in having help when they are never anywhere to be found?

A knock came to my door. “Come in!”

“Alpha Roman, you wanted to see me?”

“Yes, where were you?” I spat.

“I was making up the guest rooms alpha.”

“Well, next time I call you, you had better come right away or it’ll be 3 days without food! Do you understand?”

“Yes, alpha, I’m sorry.”

“Did you send out the invitations to the other alphas for the alpha ceremony?”

“Yes Alpha”

“Good you may leave!”

“Yes alpha, thank you alpha.”

“Andrew, it seems that Alpha Ash has found his mate! They will be coming to the alpha ceremony. I want no speak on the girls. Do you understand me? Alpha Ash is a man of everything done by the rules. He will turn you in the moment he catches word. Do you understand?”

“Yes dad, I wonder what his little mate looks like though. Think I could change her mind? Maybe she'll be my mate. He did only say mate not Luna, so she’s probably not marked.” He snickered.

“You will leave her alone while she’s here. The Gemini Pack is our alias. We need them as they are a huge pack and under the care of the elders! So you will leave them alone. Do you understand me boy?”

“Yes father.”
