Hospital Stay

Silver Pov My uncle felt like this was all his fault. He told me I was now registered for online classes only to finish my last year of high school. I wasn't allowed to leave with my mate until I had graduated and turned 18 at least. With me being out for 3 months, I have a lot of school work to catch up on. Thankfully, my teachers knew what happened and told my uncle I had no due dates for my homework. As long as I had it done 2 weeks prior to graduation, I would be fine. Several days passed, I was still in the hospital. I was slowly getting strong again. My uncle came with a backpack that rolled for me. He had all my school stuff and if I needed anything printed, email it to him, and he would have it printed and brought to me, he said. He even put a brand-new laptop I had been saving up for in the backpack. He had everything set up and no passwords for now. I started on my school work at 8 a.m. every day and worked on it with small breaks here and there. The nurses, doctor, and King Jasper made me take breaks. Thankfully, I was able to eat more and more each day and King Jasper was able to get some food outside as long as it was approved by the doctor. Thankfully, even being in the hospital I was still passing my classes. I was hoping to get to go home soon though. My uncle was getting a room set up for me so I could come home, and I was not going to be left alone. I was allowed to have my friends over and even King Jasper didn't mind. He saw them treat me like family vs someone they fell in love with. They were jealous that I was able to graduate, and they still had to go for 2 more years. I planned on doing online college when I was done with high school. I would be free to leave when I was 18 and this would give me time to figure out a lot of things. A couple more months went by, and I was finally out of the hospital getting stronger than before. My wolf Silvia was slowly getting stronger too. I was living with my uncle. I had my own office and bedroom with my own bathroom. When my uncle didn't have the person to stay with me, I would go to his office in the main house anyway, so I could have help if I needed to. I also liked that I could fall asleep as needed. Which, since I was still gaining strength, I did nap here and there. I tried to stay at the house occasionally. So far, though, I was doing great. I got to talk to King Jasper every day. When we would call at the end of the say and do 30 minutes each to fully download for the day, thankfully, we were never going to give up on each other despite our distance away from each other. We are still loyal to each other and that surprised a lot of people. He planned to be there for all the holidays, weather permitted. He planned to attend all my birthdays until I was able to go with him, and he was going to be their one for my graduation. I was so happy to know everything would be OK. As the days went by, so did one month and then another. Before I knew it, I was only one month away from the Finals and then 2 weeks after the Finals were done, I was going to graduate. I felt like nothing was going to stop me. I needed to go to the store and grab things for dinner. One of the guards, Casper, came with me since a lot of people didn't like me. My friends had to go shopping too, so they planned on meeting us at the store. I loved the fresh air and needed some space. The clean fresh air smelled of cherry blossoms and I loved it. I got to the store with my phone, wallet, and shopping list in hand. Casper went and got a shopping cart for me to go to. I walked down each isle grabbing what my uncle and I needed. The guys came over from time to time so we could hang out. I made sure to grab what we needed and a few extra things. I was picking up the fresh fruit since it was my uncle's birthday in a couple of days. I saw Vanessa and I didn't care for her. She was one of the people who gave me problems. I avoided her the best I could. She was always hitting on my uncle. Yes, she was 18, but even still he was not into her. He thought about a chosen mate since his mate died and the baby shortly after. For a while, he lost his way and my mom took over, but we were all there for him when he went through that. Mom told me about the experience, because about 2 months later she found out she was expecting. When mom was 20 weeks old, she ended up losing the baby. I never knew why she lost the baby. Mom never even told me if the baby was a boy or a girl. About a year and a half later, mom was pregnant with me. I always had a feeling that the baby was a boy. I say that because I found some ultrasounds that were moms and I knew they were not mine. Mom made a photo album for me. Even when she was sick, I would sit on the bed with her, and she would tell me how and where to put them in. She would even give me the dates and descriptions. I miss doing that with her. I was invited to school by my friends, and mom wasn't even there to see that. My uncle was going to so he could help chaperon all the teenagers. I was happy to go, but I wanted my mate with me. I needed him during this time. As if on a queue, my phone rang. It was him. "I felt your sadness and Silvia wouldn't tell us. She said, We should ask you." said Jasper. Tears poured down my face. He sat in silence as the cry's got harder. Eventually, my Uncle came into the room. He saw the tears and that I was talking to Jasper. He already knew why I was crying. All I could do was hand over my phone. I ran to the bathroom with more tears pouring down my face. I could hear my uncle telling Jasper that I was having some breakdowns the past few weeks. I decided to take a shower and all I could do was just stand there as the water poured over me. I eventually washed my face and got cleaned up. I didn't have any clothes in the bathroom, so I wrapped up in a towel. Only I didn't realize my uncle brought in my pajamas. There was a note on top. "Your friends are here, and we will be having a guest staying with us the whole week of prom. Take your time and we are here when you need us. I am also allowing your friends to stay the night. I knew you needed them and you guys are more like siblings and I can't think of myself. I need to think of what is best for you too. The boys also brought dinner for us. We will see you soon and don't forget how much you are loved," said my Uncle. I smiled because they guys always seemed to know when I needed them. Even though it was almost 3 years since mom passed away, I was going through a lot still. Not having my mom was a lot, I was going to be emotional about it. When I came out, the boys were actually in my room getting the beds set up. We had several different ones thankfully. They all came over and gave me a group hug. When I opened my eyes after the hug, I had several messages and one was from Jasper. I opened Jaspers text. He said, "I love you, and I'll be there in a couple of days. I will be staying for a week.
