“So what is is it that you wish to discuss with me, Raina?” Arkin asked as soon as were encased in the four walls of my chambers. I turned around to face him with the darkest glare I could muster. I wanted him to know just how angry I was. “Why did you lie to them?” I asked. My inner voice told me to watch my tone with him but I refused to listen. What Arkin did was wrong and I had to make him understand that. If he chose to punish me for disrespecting him, then he could do so after listening to what I had to say. “Lie?
