I still couldn’t believe Arkin would allow his brothers to speak to me. Granted they were the ones who insisted on meeting me but he still agreed. He could’ve told them, just like he told Prince Bertram to stay away from me, but he didn’t. What had changed? In just a couple of days I would get to meet someone other than Arkin.
