"Where are you coming from at such an hour Valah?" ~~~ "Mother", she froze. "Where have you been?", her mother asked. "I I was helping the people of Vakis", she didn't dear stare stare into her mothers winter eyes. "At this time?", her mother stares her down for what seemed eternity. "You've found him, haven't you", her eyes blazed with curiosity. Valahs heart quickened. "Don't be embarrassed dear, you are a woman, this is part of who you are", she caressed her soft but freezing cheeks.         They walked to a spacious room decorated with blue flamed candles. "What was he like?", Lady Narria asked." He was-- really tall and huge. His eyes were a fierce shade of black and had hair so black that it mirrored the skies reflection. "Was he handsome", Narria smiled. "Yes, he was", Valah said shyly. "Mother!", I know, you left him to the currents. She tilted her head wondering how she could have known. "It's okay, you can find him tomorrow.", she rose.        It felt like an everlasting dream. He kept seeing this beautiful woman. She teased him with her frosted fingers but every time he came closer she disappeared living him aching inside. She would call out his name seductively. " Drogon.... Drogon....", but when he tried to touch her she dissolved into fine snow. This was maddening. His body was so ready that any woman would flee in fear if they saw him. He just needed to break the ice.       The night was perfect. The north winds, accompanied by snow dust made the aurora look even more magical. She laid there peacefully asleep and as bare as an autumn tree. Her body glittered in the darkness of the room. She was beautiful. "Drogon, please -- don't go.", a faint whisper escaped her lips. "Please, stay a little longer", she cried out. He laid on top of her gently. "Tell me what you want my sweet Valah." Her eyes shined with need. "I want you", she ached.       He gently kissed her cheek and lips. On the way down he caressed her breast with his mouth and hands. She cried out in lust. He went lower and lower. She held his head firmly while he had his meal. Her body glowed to his touch. He placed his body in between her thighs and nibbled on her earlobe. Every inch of her body tingled to the feel of his warm fingers on her skin.        She held his head in her hands. Her face softened  when she saw the smallest bruise on his left brow. "What did this?", she asked rubbing her thumb gently on the cut. :You did my love". Before she could apologize he disappeared into thin air. "Drogon! please don't go." She woke up instantly, breathing heavy. She wrapped the silk covers around her body an went to the opened window. "He's some where out there", she thought anxiously. She tried going back to bed with no hope but she wasn't the only one who couldn't close their eyes because he saw and felt everything she did.     The next morning, she was shaking like a leaf. It couldn't have been from the cold for she had pure ice blood running through her veins . On the other hand, her usual shimmery blue was now transforming into a light green color. The exotic patterns laid perfectly on her back and chest. This was nothing strange, it only meant that her mate was near.  They continued to form all over her body. She covered up as much as possible for citizens of Northam could become very intrusive.        She walked steadily through the still dark halls. The few maids in the pantries greeted her with a decent curtsy following a curious gaze. "My lady", she nodded in acknowledgement and quickly exited the castle. Her long golden hair flew freely at dawns raging breeze. " Megi hjarta mitt visa veginn", she spoke in the native language of the great Icelanders. "May my heart lead the way."        He felt a familiar presence approach. She continued to linger through the harsh weather to the lake. Valah fought fearlessly, along side her Lady Narria . Only to return with no blood but victory in the war against the fire nation many years ago. She was only sixteen then and there she stood, frightened to release her mate.        "Do you think he can withstand the cold." ~~~ "Mother", she spun around. They stared at him quietly while the ice thawed. He was even more handsome than she remembered. He slept like a baby that day, wrapped like a gift in silk covers, laying peacefully in her bed. She left him to attend to her daily duties.         A baby was born in the depth of the night and she as their leader, was to bless this new babe. A ceremony would be held to confirm whether the child was pure blood. Only a pure blood could rule these sacred lands. Valah was the last of her kind. "Lady Valah  it is time to prepare", the high maid implied.          In one of her finest gowns, she strode with pride through the decorated hallways. She greeted, smiled, blessed but her mind was else where. She was near her mate waiting for his up rise. "Drogon, are you okay?" "Drogon, answer me!", Demarca yelled. "I'll be home soon, he held her trembling hands. He woke up instantly, to a rusty pain in his neck. Within a blink, he was to his feet. Mountains upon mountains of ice an snow with only the smallest pinch of sunlight. There was fresh food and clothes laid out for him. He stood there, observing the fancy room and the unique looking buildings in the distance. He breathed in deeply to a fresh scent of rose petals and lavender pearls.        "My lady", the mother curtsied "I present to you Azena Catcher, my first born. With delicate hands, she cuddled the baby in her arms. "She is beautiful", she smiled at the over joyed mother. The ceremony began with the wizards traditional protection spells. The baby was put to sleep. A pinch of blood  taken from her fragile heart. "Goddess!", he spat. " It is not pure". The crowd went silent, following an outburst of mumbles and whispers. "My people, fear not for our reign has just began".  The baby was handed back to the mother asleep. Still with disappointment they clapped and danced to the drums and trumpets. When all was over, everyone returned to their pose and homes except one. Valah strolled the great halls dreading her fate.                                                                                                                                      He heard a soft creak. She tried opening the door as quietly as she could. He turned slowly to find the most exquisite being he had ever set eyes on. Her body glowed at his presence. He stood there, back facing the glass windows. He wore the clothes given to him, almost looking like one of them but he didn't look peaceful. They stared at each other for what seemed an eternity.          With an unexpected turn, he asked. " Why am I here?". She stared at him in silence. "Who are you?" "Why did you take me?". He knew why he was taken but his nature wouldn't allow him to abide, for he was a half moon demon better known as the death demon. He stared at her with two pairs of eyes. One of passion, hope and one of resentment. She never uttered a word to him, which only worsened his frustration. He continued with a thousand questions.
