Ten PM on a Wednesday night in the middle of November. Maybe not the typical night for a spur of the moment trip to AC, but that’s where I found myself. Tonight was going to be the night I got my mojo back, no matter how many drinks it took to turn these frogs into princes. I looked over my options over and hoped this was just the early crowd. All of the men here looked old enough to be my father and I was not in the mood to see anyone’s grey pubs. Unlike my friend Noah whom danced up on an unsuspecting older male.
In his tight dress and f**k my pumps Noah looked like one of the most attractive girls in the room. His long black locks were a wave of excellence as the bounced to the beat. In the far corner Jillian and Rei talked to the DJ. He was a friend of theirs from college. They all played soccer together on the school’s co-ed team. I only met him a few times in passing and he was a tool to say the least. He did extend an olive branch to get us in this club.
As one of the newest additions to the coastal city, this place was beautiful. It was off the boardwalk which sucked and explained the low capacity, but it was cool. I hung out at the table in the back waiting for someone worthy to come by. “For someone hell bent on getting bent over you sure look lonely in this corner,” I turned to see Noah glaring at me.
“I’m waiting for more guys to show up. I don’t just shake my thing for anyone,” I said.
“And that’s why your pathetic ass won’t be getting anything. You’re being picky. Don’t be stingy with it. Even Cookie Monster shares baby,” he said with a devious smile.
“And that’s why you got cheated on four times, and had to bail your last boyfriend out of jail,” I smiled back.
Jillian and Rei came over to the table. Jillian was wearing my black dress and gold pumps. Noah curled her hair in a similar style to his. Jillian was a typical next-door, beauty with her blonde, curls and petite build. Rei was her opposite. Rei was tall and a little thicker. She had jet black hair she kept pin straight, that I braided to the side for her. She was wearing a short midi skirt and a short that looked more like a sports bra. “You two at it again?” Rei yelled over the music.
“She’s refusing to clean the cobwebs out her p***y,” Noah yelled and I hit him.
“Noah!” Jillian said looking around. “You can’t say things like that.” Jillian was the sheltered, conservative of our little bunch. She was the only reason any of us had a prayer of getting into heaven. Somehow, she was able to maintain her modesty in the six years we’ve been friends.
“Sorry Mother Jillian,” Noah said. “Can we get drinks on your body, or do I need to find another dance partner?”
“He said ask the chick at the bar to put it on his tab, and don’t get crazy,” they all turned to me.
“I like what I like,” I shrugged not being apologetic about my top shelf taste.
“Whatever, come get us liquor,” Rei said pulling me over to the bar. “You sure you’re ready to start dating again,” she asked once we reached the bar.
“I’m not dating anyone I met here,” I laughed.
“You know what I mean. Lucas was technically still your fiancé two weeks ago,” she reminded me. I struggled 6 month and 8 days to resend our wedding invitations. Apart of me still wanted to get married, but I know I deserve more than a lying, opportunistic, cheat.
“Well, this week I’m single, and I have cobwebs in my p***y,” I said making her laugh.

I arrived to Garret’s club early. I wanted to see what my old partner and brother-in-law made out of the old warehouse we invested in. It was very reminiscent of our first club. It had the same classic saloon vibe, with a modern feel. I enjoyed the décor and the music was good. Yet, he was missing a very important component, the people. It was a Wednesday night, but one of the biggest concerts had passed through town, and this place should be crowded. I went over to the bar to check out his drink selection when I saw her.
As I went to approach her Garret came down from the VIP section. “Sean, you’re early,” he said as he greeted me.
“I just wanted to see things for myself, maybe enjoy a drink,” I shrugged. “How’s Angela and the kids?” I asked.
“Good they’re good, she’s almost done nursing school,” He informed me. “How’s Aurora holding up?” He asked as he gestured for me to walk up the stairs.
“She’s a resilient kid. She misses Toya, but she’s getting better.”
We walked to the back of the upper level to his office. “You know if you need anything I got you,” He promised. “Maya hasn’t seen her favorite cousin in a while.”
“Things got a little crazy after Toya died,” I said not really in the mood to talk about my late wife. Latoya was my world, and I never thought I’d lose her after eight years of marriage. She was my everything and I was finally ready to move on. I’d been getting better at adjusting. That is when I’m not around people like Garrett, who want to talk about her, and my feelings, and how perfect we were together.
“I understand. That’s why I invited you out here,” he smiled. “What do you think of it?”
“It’s empty man,” I laughed.
“It’s off season. It’ll pick up. I got that cage thing you always wanted to do at Elixir,” he said referencing my club. “It’s a favorite.”
“You always had trouble with making simple things so cheesy,” I teased.

My little vixen was out on the floor with a group of her friends. I was entranced by the way she moved her body. She wound her waist seductively to the beat. Her hips up and down. I could already see her riding me. I made my way over to her and wrapped an arm around her waist. I felt her tense, but I mimicked her earlier movements and she soon followed along. We finished the song out with her grinding her plump rear into my growing erection.
She attempted to turn around but I held her hips firmly against mine. “Dance with me for the next song?” I asked.
“Ok,” she said adjusting her rhythm to match the slower tempo of the new song. I slowly let my hands scale her body. Her skin was covered in a light coating of sweat, but she smelt like a fresh bouquet of flowers. When the song was over she turned to me and I looked down at her.
“Who is this tall glass of milk,” one of her friends said interrupting what ever she was about to say.
“I’m Sean,” I said sure that her friend was a man.
“I’m Robin,” he or she said.
“And you are?” I asked the black, beauty I just dance with.
“Ladesha,” he said and she glared at him.
“Ladesha, who’s your friend?” one of her other friends asked.
“Sean,” she said as she glared at them.
“Would you guys like to join me in VIP?” I asked.
“Of course we will, right Dey?”
“Yeah sure,” she said sounding like it as the last place she wanted to be.
“Follow me,” I said leading she and her friends upstairs to the growing VIP lounge. “Whatever you guys want is on me,” I offered.
“That’s so nice of you. Isn’t it Dey?” her Asian friend said.
“Yeah,” she smiled.
“Dance with me?” I asked as I extended my hand. She was hesitant to take it, but one look at her friends and she complied
