AVOIDING HIS SIGHT

YUUJIN POV

The sun was beautifully bright in the morning the birds chirping happily and people already getting bussy but i was stack in my bed since 5Am in the morning. I was laying on my back staring blankly at the space,my head spinning,aching in a way it hasn't for years.

I felt nothing else leave alone feeling myself as if I've stumbled straight out of a comma.only one thing was in my head.

I kissed him.

I f****ng kissed Zain Lee, Lee's only heir leave alone the fact that he's straight.

I never remember anything when am drank so why did the heavens chose this incident as an exception? So that i could hang myself dead? Probably yah cause i have no other better idea. The Lee's are going to get me castrated the second they hear that i kissed their son so am better off dead

"So the five minutes rule are still existing even in my unconscious state " I said sighing hard

I was about to atleast give thanks to the person who made the calendar and make this day weekend when my phone rang on the nightstand

"Holly Marry mother of God! Not this time please" I said before taking it and stared at the screen. It was Riko

"Out of all times really? I just pray that she's fine cause am not going to answer that." I said and placed the phone back on the stand but it rang again and again and again so this time i just had to take it.

"Riko,i know you're new on that marriage but please just try to get along with your husband for the sake of dad-" I started bluffing but the unfamiliar voice cut me short on the other end

"Sorry...i had to call you through her phone,i thought it'd be more better if you were here " it was his husband's voice, Sung-min. Everything else crashed

"What happened? How is she doing? Is my sister fine? Don't tell me she was kidnapped,my sister had no enemies and doesn't even hold grudges-" I panicked

"Calm down brother inlaw, your sister is fine ,it's just that....she's abit sick...flue,but other than that she's fine so please if you can come and stay with her for today cause i can't leave her alone like this"

Why is he talking like Romeo worrying for Juliette? Anyways, I've to go see her ,I haven't heard her voice ever since she got married

It took me 45 minutes to reach their mansion and there she was laying on a fancy bed looking small like a covid patient, she really know how to act spoiled

"Hellow princess!" I greated in teasing tone sitting beside her. She opened her eyes like she has been sleeping all the time

"You have no idea how sick I've been, i nearly died " she said in a childish voice

"And you have no idea how much i didn't want to get out of my goddamn bed or talk to anyone but my God today" I answered back trying to hide the seriousness of my sentence to avoid questions but still she paid attention to it

"What's wrong, did something happen?"

"Not really....and that's not the issue right now cause we have to know what's making a Lee's son call his brother inlaw at 8Am just for a flue fake sick wife."

"Don't say that. You have no idea how Sung-min have been good to me"

"You call him by his first name?" Well thats new for a contract wife,right?

"Ofcourse!he's my husband" she said boldly. I tried to look at her eyes maybe to find something, something controlling her...but none!

"Well.." I started, standing and moving to the wide window then folding my arms before continuing "Aren't those the last words usually said by the contract brides before they dissappear without a trace?"

"Common Jin Jin,trust me! He is special. At first he sounded suspicious and really had me worried but after spending time with him i came to notice that he's a good guy and he's just being honest "

"Have you slept with him?" I asked turning to her and the look on her face almost made me want to laugh hard rolling on the floor but i ended up holding it

"What...? No! Noo...I know my place and am holding only onto that. Am just being in his life for 2 years, just untill our company gets back in market. What am trying to say is that you have to trust him "

I looked at her in a narrowed eyes before answering

"Okay....that's great! Know your place,that's what you have to keep in mind. "

She nodded.

"Then...how's it out there? Heard you're working in their company, are you getting along with-" the door flew open cutting her short. Mr Han walked in,followed by Sung-min

"How are you doing daughter? " Mr Han asked the second he walked in. They are really pisssing me off with their Hollywood acting

"Am fine now father thanks for caring "

Riko answered with a smile that reached her eyes-Good!now am doubting if she really knows her place.

"Oh...Yuujin,how have you been?" He asked now turning to me. I perfectly faked a smile before answering

"I've been doing well,nothing serious"

"Good, don't worry much about your sister, she's doing fine under our care."

Ofcourse! Just untill she won't be anymore

"Thanks sire"

"Ohh...right! Zain is home too,go catch up with him" Sung-min said

Okay...i totally forgot about my situation, i was worried about my sister so much i forgot i just entered the lions den.

I forced a smile "I will." I moved out of the room confidently then shattered as soon as the door closed behind. I moved in the house like a shadow and thanks be to the heavens that he wasn't in the sitting room and in less than a minute i was already sitting in my car leaving the Lee's mansion miles behind. Their maids probably saw me acting strange but am far from caring about them

But i take back my thanks from the person who made the calendar because Monday was just a day after and i couldn't escape so easily like how i escaped him from the mansion...
