chapter 6 the truth

As I woke up on Monday i got ready and went to work. When I arrived everyone was in a panic. A very important file was missing and know one could find it.

Charlie: hi what's going on ray

Ray: the folder for this spring magazine is missing

Charlie: what

Alessia: sir i found it

Steven: good where is it

Alessia: i found it on Charlie's computer

Charlie: what did you say

Charlie: sir i did not do this i just got here

Steven: but for know you are suspended until we can get the tapes and see who did it so don't come into work tomorrow and you may go home for the rest of the day

Charlie: yes sir i understand

Ray: hi Charlie what happened

Charlie: i just got suspended until after the big meeting tomorrow they will do a proper investigation

Alessia: wow i cant believe you who is high and mighty know

As Alessia laughed her last laugh I went home and started getting ready for tomorrow's big meeting. I had everything planned and could not see people cry. The next day everyone gathered in the biggest meeting room ever in the building. They called it the lion's cage. I guess the name came up because of me. I was young and people did not think I could run the company until they met the real me and called me the lion. As everyone entered the room and sat down talking a quiet hush came over the room as I walked in I could hear everyone's heart beating and pen writing.
