CHAPTER 7: Wedding plan

In the meantime with Prince Herbert and King Andrew, they are discussing about the wedding.
"King Andrew, where is Princess Melody?" Herbert asked.
"She always hang out with her friends during the weekends," King Andrew answered, "By the way, when would you like to have your wedding?"
"7th August your majesty. The day before battle of Slytherin," Herbert answered.
King Andrew was unexpectedly shocked at his quick response.
"Out of all days, why that day?" King Andrew asked.
King Andrew thought that he would take few moments before answering the question. However, Herbert answered quicker than King Andrew expected.
"I love your daughter. When I'm married to your daughter, I will love her as my one and only wife. When we're married, I will love you two as my parents. When we're married, I will be part of the Rivin family. As a part of the Rivin family, I want to help your majesties in the battle of Severin, defending the kingdom of Rivin," Herbert answered.
King Andrew was speechless with his answer. He can see how much Herbert loves his daughter and help this kingdom. He accepted the date Herbert suggested.
"I want the wedding to be held in Rivin ballroom," Herbert added, "I want the wedding to be held in the place where Melody and I are engaged. Therefore, she will remember the special day."
King Andrew was touched by every single word he said. He accepted his suggestions.
After discussing for few hours, Herbert went back to his kingdom.
29th June, battle of Rivin began. As usual, their target is Severin. Most of their guards were killed but not as much as the guards in Severin.
Two days later, the battle ended. Rivin guards retreated back to their kingdom.
A week after the battle, King Andrew informed Samuel to tell Melody about the wedding plans since Samuel and Melody are close.
"Melody?" Samuel looked for his sister in her room.
"What is it brother?" Melody asked.
"Father had sent me to tell you about the wedding plans. He thought that we can chat about it as a sibling talk like every Friday night," Samuel replied.
Melody wasn't expecting that their sibling talk will be about any wedding plans at least until one of them are engaged. Melody started to cry.
Samuel noticed her crying. He embraced her into his arms, hugging her. Unexpectedly, their father came in and noticed Melody crying.
"Melody, why are you crying?" King Andrew asked, "It really hurts me to see you cry."
King Andrew turned to Samuel and asked him, "Have you told her about her wedding plans?"
Samuel answered frankly, "I brought up the topic when she started crying."
King Andrew nodded, understanding what he said. He told Samuel, "Tell her to accept the wedding plans. No excuses allowed!"
With that, he left Melody's room, leaving both Melody and Samuel shocked.
Melody continued crying, not wanting to accept the fact that she is marrying a man she doesn't love.
