Pepper was in the back mumbling to herself, and her shoe squeaked against the floor. I walked towards her through the maze of plants. Finally, she was within sight. She grabbed something off a giant plant, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it. I couldn’t help but chuckle at her childish maneuver. She jumped and looked at me with wide eyes. “You scared me!
