After I left the office, I realized I had no idea where Melanie or Lily might be. I searched through the second story, but all I found was offices that were being used as extra sleeping space.
I was pleased to find that the house was picked up compared to yesterday, and Jackson seemed to have organized where everyone was sleeping. I headed downstairs, but only found more spare rooms that were fitted to sleep multiple people.
The house felt bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside, and I was surprised at the number of rooms. If only it didn’t make searching for them harder. I worried if they were here at all, but kept reassuring myself that they couldn’t have left the pack house. After searching the first and second floor, I passed the cafeteria to look outside.
