We should love, not fall in love, because everything that falls, gets broken.
Madison's P.O.V
Waking up early for my second day of school isn't easy. It's like the first just not as bad? Just me?
Ok...Getting dressed I decide to wear a halter top, with some white rips jeans and my blue Converse. After doing my morning routine I go downstairs, greet my mother and father then my brothers and I head to school.
Getting to school we still get stared at. Wow. Climbing out of the car my brothers and I walk to the entrance, heads held high just as the bell rings. Today we have a different schedule, it's every day we switch but we have two so tomorrow I'll have the one I had on my first day. Walking to my second first period I scan the class and see Levi and Aaron, Cora, Harlow, and Lyra. Lyra is a new friend I made, she's a really shy redhead and she's a lesbian also, she's really innocent. The only reason she's in this school is that her mother thinks that having her go to this school will teach her something, or to give her some kind of discipline for being LGBT, I already don't like her mother but Lyra told me she's moving in with her dad soon.
I walk over to the g**g just as the teacher walks in flashing me a small smile, to which I do the same.
"Ok, class today we have three new students who have joined this class." He says greeting my brothers, and I politely. "Today we will be talking about love since this is a writing/ poetry class." He adds on to which I immediately tense up.
"Can we have someone stand up and tell us what they feel about love?" He questions looking throughout the class.
"I bet she has never been in love." The girl from yesterday who replied. I also found out her name its Marissa.
I stand up "All of us are stuck in a generation where love is just a quote and lying is the new truth." I reply, sending Marissa a glare. She bows her head in fear.
"Ah, so we have a volunteer! Ms, Martinez, would you like to have a debate with someone in this class? He questions.
To which I reply, "debates are stupid, why would I wanna sit down and argue with someone blatantly dumber than me?"
He simply ignores my statement, "can I ask you some questions about love" My teacher asks me? Nodding my head he starts. "Why do you believe what you just said about love being the new truth." I start making my way to the front of the class as I start talking.
"I said that because it's true we are stuck in a generation where females fall in love with what they hear and boys fall in love with what they see, that's why girls wear makeup and boys lie."
Standing up Levi replies with "That's not true men are capable of loving women who aren't blessed with their looks."
"Maybe, it is. I haven't seen that ever happen. What I've seen is women, men, people changing themselves to be loved, to fit in." I say rolling my eyes and picking my nails.
Before he can answer the teacher interrupts. Looking at me he starts talking, "So you're saying men can only fall in love with beautiful people?" He questions.
"No, I'm not, I'm simply saying I haven't seen it happen before, men are abusive to females thinking they're weak."
Before I can continue you, "Some men are abusive and think women are good for a few things."
"True very true. All I'm saying is that if a man expects a woman to be an angel in his life, he must first create, heaven for her. Angels don't live in hell."
"And how do you know all of this? Care to explain?" The teacher asked with a little smirk.
"Sure, let's start with the quote, every girl wants a bad boy that will be good just for her. When girls go, bad men go right after her and it simply isn't fair, I mean really?! Why are men so disrespectful? They need to learn to accept everyone or at least most people no matter what they look like" I finish off just as the bell rang.
Walking out of the classroom with my brother and friends behind me I get stopped by some guy.
"Hey, sexy why don't we get outta here? I can make u feel good" He smirks.
"Want to play a game?" I ask teasing him a bit.
"Yes!" He yells.
"Just kidding," I say smiling before I continue. "I heard you're a player, nice to meet you I'm the coach." I smugly before shoulder checking him and walking away.
When I feel someone grab my waist I instantly tense until I realize its Levi. "You're so confident and very clever." I laugh and reply " sometimes I shock myself with the smart stuff I say and do, other times I get out the car with my seatbelt on" I smile at him before walking into the one class I don't have with Levi.
