Chapter 14 Intent to do Harm Tony Blackhawk had been a lot of places since he left his reservation, most of them through backcountry. There was a law that forbid Indians the right to leave the reservations, but it was an old law and not often enforced. Unless an Indian got into some kind of trouble or drew too much attention to himself, he was usually left alone. Tony knew the law and opted to keep a low profile. To do that meant staying off main roads and trails when possible. Wandering was a risk, but it was a risk he was willing to take. Most of the nations remained at home because it was home.
