ANASTASIA
Today was really a stressful day at work, like making their employees regret having a job they love? Well, not me, because he can’t keep that ugly attitude while I work with him. That has to change.
“Finally, I arrived at my apartment building, and I’m happy that I was able to get a good apartment that has a healthy space and is affordable with a nice view of the city”. I’m so proud of myself.
I need to take a really long shower when I get in, grab something to eat and go to sleep. As I opened the door to my apartment , my dog Carver jumped on me and licked my face.
“Hey big boy, how are you doing?”, You miss mama? I missed you too. Are you hungry? Be a good boy and wait for mama, I need to shower real quick, and then I’ll make something for us to eat”.
I changed out of my outfit and got into the shower. Once I got out of the shower, I changed into my Mickey Mouse pajamas and headed into the kitchen to make something to eat.
“So what does Carver want to eat? I’m out of groceries and I don’t know what to make Carver for dinner, so I guess we’ll just eat leftovers. After all the leftovers are not bad, I’ll just heat it up, and then it’s good as new. Now what do we have in the fridge? Ahhh, this pasta will do. Let me just heat it up right quickly.
“Ping!”
That sounds like my phone. Who would send me a text by this time?
Emily : “Hey girl, it’s me Emily,
Got your number from the receptionist
Since I forgot to ask for it”. Hope it’s okay?
Anastasia : “That’s fine and hope you're good?”
Emily : I just wanted to say hi,
See you tomorrow at work.
Anastasia : Good night and sleep well.
“Emily is really a sweetheart. I hope we get to talk and know more about each other”.
“Ding, ding”, my oven went off.
“Carver, dinner is ready!”.
Once we finished eating, I cleaned up the kitchen, switched off all my lights and went straight to bed. I'm exhausted, and need a good night's rest. I have to get up early and get ready for work.
“Thank goodness, I just remembered that I have to go through my phone to see if I have any new emails and also set up my alarm before I forget. I can’t afford to be late for work tomorrow and have yet another episode with my boss”.
I went through my emails, set up my alarm, kissed my baby on the head and went to sleep.

“What did I tell you, huh?” your mine nobody is going ever love you like me, there’s no where you can run to or hide, and I won’t find you, do you know why?, because we are meant to be together forever”.
I’ll kill myself and write a letter blaming you for my death if you leave me, so don’t push me to do something both you and I will regret. I love you and I can’t lose you. You know this, so why do you keep hurting me by wanting to leave Anastasia?
“Let go of my arms!”, you're hurting me, just let me go. I’m tired of you hurting me. I just want to leave, please just let me go”……..

“Beep,beep,beep!”
I jacked up from my sleep and immediately stood up from my bed and went into my bathroom to wash my jacket. “OMG, thank goodness it was just a dream, but why would I have that type of dream? It's been me while I dreamed about my past. Why come back now”?
“I splashed some water on my face, looked into the mirror and took a deep breath, do you know what?, I’ll just put whatever that dream was about behind me and get ready for work, I can risk my job trying to think about what that was all about”.
I took a shower, got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.
“Carver! There you are. I was wondering where you went off to, I guess you're hungry, so I’ll make you something to eat and drop you off at the dog care before I go to work. Don’t worry, mama will pick you up when she’s done from work”.
I dropped Carver off, and headed to work but made a quick stop to grab Mr Donovan’s coffee. I also grabbed coffee and cookies for Emily and I. I'm early today, so I hope today will be a good work day.
“Hi Emily, how was your night?”
“You're early. Well, my night was good, and I hope yours was good too?”.
“My night was also good, umm, I got us coffee and some cookies, I’ll just drop it here and take this to Mr Donovan’s office, as he arrives to work?”.
“Thank you so much girl, it’s like you know I don’t get enough time to grab something to eat, you're such an angel, and he's not here yet, but he will soon be here. Just go drop it and come so we can put something in our stomachs”.
I dropped his coffee on his desk and joined Emily at her desk. “So what is it like working here?”.
“Well, there’s nothing triggering about working here. Maybe it’s because I love my job, but I can also say that working here feels so right to me, you understand?”. And as for the boss, well, I don’t work in the field where I have to see him or have a one on one conversation with him on a daily basis, so I wouldn’t know how grumpy he gets other than what I see from afar every morning before work starts, and before he leaves for home. But other than that, working here isn’t bad. You’ll be fine. Yesterday was just your first day, but you’ll do better today.
“Thank you so much for the boost of confidence, and it was really nice having breakfast with you, but I have to go through files before I hand them to the boss. See you later”.
“See you later girl, have fun and remember today will be much better”.
I went into my office and started going through all the files for the last time before I handed them back to him.
“Beep,beep”
“Miss Lawson report to my office with the files I gave you to work on yesterday”.
“I don’t know how long I’ve been seated here going through these files, but my butt is telling me it’s been a while.” I picked up the files and headed to his office.
