“See,” grinned the janitor, displaying a row of uneven, yellowing teeth and waving his arm at around the room. Simon entered. In coffinlike, glass cases one above another lay the remains of a dozen or more mummified Kings and Queens of Ancient Egypt. The seedy grin quickly changed to puzzlement as the caretaker watched while Simon walked straight past the cases and onwards towards the door at the other end of the room. “No, no − not over there!” he whispered loudly.
