CHAPTER XV The Forgotten Song

"It's time."

He raised his hands up and started whispering some words while going around the witch star he had made on the ground. Soon his whispers' joined some chanting that seemed to be coming from the wall. Lyanna couldn't tell what they were saying but when the star took fire she remembered the prophecy "Led by the forgotten song until the oceans burn" the witch star represents the ocean and the chanting was the forgotten song. John came close to Lyanna and took her close to the star.

"Thank you!"-he whispered on her ear.

Even though she was standing close to the fire it got so cold. Then she saw an hallucination of Harry, Leah and Chloe.

"Don't give in, Lyanna!"-Leah said.

"You're stronger than this, trust your instinct. Besides you'll get bored much before it ends so end it now."-said Chloe chuckling.

"Fight it Lyanna. Fight it and when you get out we'll go home."-said Harry.

Lyanna closed her eyes took a deep breath and pushed John away.

"What? How is this possible?"-he asked shocked.

"You had a great plan professor, however you forgot one tiny little detail, I am so impatient and get bored so fast. Did you really believe I would just stay there?"-she explained.

"But you're weak."-he said trying to get up, but Lyanna pushed him on the ground again.

"Correction. I was weak. Then my friends reminded me who I really am. And that professor is definitely not the one you need it to perform your little spell."

"But... No I planned it all. I won't allow a stupid little girl ruin it."-he said in pain.

"Oh but I did. I ruined your little plan like you ruined my relationship with Ethan."-Lyanna said while holding John down with stone handcuffs pinning him down on the floor. She wen and took one the green bottle on the shelf. "Do you actually live here?"

"No"-John replied cold "And put that down!"

Lyanna turned to look at him then said:

"You are in no position of making orders. Now professor, I might be a little stupid but I pay attention to every single detail. We learned about this in class didn't we? 'Summa Gelida' one drop of this could freeze someone for as long as the other one wants, right?"

She went close to him again.

"Do it! Do it Lyanna!"-yelled John.

"Oh I will. Just not yet. You have to tell me something first. How do I get back to normal, with the Sun during the day and the Moon during the night?"-she asked while struggling a bit to open the bottle, but by the end of her question she managed to open it.

"Ohhh, you're going to have to figure it out by yourself."-those were John's last words before Lyanna lost her temper and emptied the whole bottle on him.

In that instant the chanting stopped, the Sun rose again and the fire on the witch's star shunned down. Lyanna looked down at John, he was completely frozen because of her and yet she felt nothing. She told herself it was because John was a bad person and that he's not dead, she just stopped him so that she could get out and the police will deal with him. Then she looked at Mike, he was still unconscious.
