Full Moon: Wolf Is Coming

CHAPTER XII Blue Moon

The next morning Lyanna woke up on the ground with her blanket covering half of her body. When she got up on her feet she saw that Leah and Chloe were not there. She slowly got dressed and looked in the mirror, her hair looked like she had been living in a cave for the last 6 years, however they easily got better. She went on the downstairs on the common room and saw Chloe, Leah and Harry waiting for her.

"Did you guys sleep at all?"-she asked sitting next to Harry.

"Of course we did, sleepy head!"-Harry replied.

"Don't call me that."

"Fine."-said Harry and then he added "Do you have that prophecy you copied?"

"Right here."-said Lyanna moving her hand with a paper.

"Do you want to find out what it means?"-asked Leah blinking really fast.

"Sure."-said Lyanna with a smile on her face, she opened the paper and read it loudly "2 questions will be given 1 answer will never be replied. When the chains of darkness rise and the night consumes everything the Dark Moon will rise once again. Led by the forgotten song until the oceans will burn. Your now and always isn't always after all."

"Lets' start finding what we know."-suggested Harry.

"The forgotten song, I've heard of this before. It's a spell. A dark spell."-said Chloe as pale as a ghost.

"That doesn't sound good."

"None of this is good Lyanna."-replied Harry angry. "What else do we know?"

"Now and always was a promise Stork and Laster gave each other when they were united"-said Leah looking so dreamy.

"What is that?"-Lyanna asked.

"Haven't you ever heard the 'Legend of Thornhill' or 'Jenny's crown'?"-asked Harry surprised.

Lyanna moved her head right and left biting her upper lip.

"What if 'chains of darkness' and 'night consumes everything' just means nightfall. After all these gargoyles do everything during the night, right?"-continued Harry.

"You might be right. But the 'Dark Moon' can't be just a Moon."-said Leah.

"Maybe 'Dark Moon' is their leader."-said Chloe.

"All right we aren't doing anything."-said Lyanna, after a small pause when the others looked at her confused she continued "We have 2 what ifs, 1 maybe and 2 probably which don't help much!"

"Relax Lyanna, we started today we still got a lot to do."-said Harry and Leah and Chloe agreed with their head.

"Fine"-said Lyanna with a long face.

"Lets' leave this for today."-said Chloe.

"What?"-asked Lyanna, Harry and Leah confused.

"Well tonight is New Year we should be celebrating. This won't go anywhere. Besides this is our first feast we celebrate together."-explained Chloe with a cute smile on her face which made her dimples visible.

"You're right."-said Harry "Lets' celebrate!"

"What time is it?"-asked Lyanna.

"3pm."-answered Leah looking at the clock on the wall.

"3pm?"-Lyanna asked surprised and Leah nodded then she added "You woke up at 1 o'clock Lyanna."

"Lets' go to the kitchen and see if we find anything."-suggested Chloe.

The kids went downstairs and entered the kitchen. For their surprise it was completely empty, there were no plates either,

"They must have taken them."-said Harry.

"Why?"-complained Lyanna. "Wait. I can smell something."

"What is it?"-asked Harry curious.

Lyanna followed the smell and opened the fridge.

"Alcohol?!"-said Lyanna taking a bottle of rum out of the fridge.

"That shouldn't be here."-said Harry.

"Put it back!"-ordered Chloe "We're 13, we shouldn't even be here. Lets' go find something better to do."

"Fine mom."-said Lyanna making a funny face and she put the bottle of rum inside the fridge.

"There is food in the closet in our common room!"-said Leah.

"Really?"-asked surprised Chloe.

"Why would there be food and how do you know?"-aske Harry.

"James once told me, or was it Tom. I don't know how to tell them apart."-she answered.

"James has freckles."-answered Lyanna fast.

"Then it was Tom."-Leah said and turned around to lead the way.

When they opened the closed they felt like they had just open the gates of paradise. It had everything chocolate, chocolate chips, chips, pretzels, peanuts and even some fruit juice.

"I guess we will have fun tonight celebrating tonight."-said Chloe looking at the closet.

"Sure we will"-Lyanna said and water ran down her mouth.

And they did until 11:50pm they danced and laughed. Then something strange happened. Lyanna changed a bit. Her wolf ears came out, her grey short tail appeared, her sign got blue and her eyes turned in a glowing blue color.

"What is happening?"-asked Harry worried.

"I don't know! This has never happened before!"-said Lyanna scared.

"Well it's beautiful."-said Chloe.

Lyanna's first instinct was to look outside the window and she didn't believe what she saw. It was another full moon. A different one this time it was blue and so beautiful.

"It must be that."-she managed to say.

When they went to the window Harry said.

"It's another full moon. Is that possible?"

"Well, it seems."-Lyanna answered.

"Well, you look beautiful like this."-he said.

"Thanks!"

Then the clock bell rang showing 12 o'clock.

"Happy New Year!"-everyone said and made a long group hug.

Lyanna raised her glass with juice and said:

"I would like to say a few words please! Thank you! First of all, Happy New Year! I wish you the best year ever! Second thank you for doing this for me, you could have been now with your families but you are here for me and this is the nicest and sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me! And third I am the luckiest person on earth to have you Leah Cullen and Chloe Wood as best friends and Harry Salvador as brother who I met a couple of months ago, however these couple months have been the best ones I've ever had. Cheers!"

"Cheers!"-said Harry, Chloe and Leah raising their glasses.

"Thank you, Lyanna, for being the bravest person we will ever meet and the fiercest and the most impatient!"-said Harry before taking a sip. They all laughed again.

After another long group hug they went back to dancing and laughing. They didn't feel the time pas until they saw the Sun rising at 6 o'clock. There Lyanna changed back, her ears and tail disappears, her sign turned black again and her eyes went back to being green.

"Umm Lyanna? I wrote to my family earlier. They replied immediately saying they would love to see you and that they had a lot to say to you. So they told me to ask you... Would you like to spend the summer at our house?"-asked Harry quietly. Leah and Chloe were just staying there looking at them waiting for Lyanna to answer.

"I'd love that! Definitely now that I have no place to go during the summer."-she answered. Now they were all happy but also tiered so they went to sleep.
