Full Moon: Wolf Is Coming

CHAPTER VIII Trip to Mountain Olympia

One week with studies, homework and introductions passed and Sunday 13th came so fast. First years were only talking about what they will take on the trip and how much fun they will have. When Lyanna, Chloe and Leah packed everything it was almost midnight.

"Maybe we should go to bed. Our bus to the train station leaves early in the morning"-Chloe said.

Tomorrow the girls woke up at exactly 5AM and after getting dressed they went in Tigers common room. Angelica was there too.

"Morning!"

"Morning girls! Are you ready for your trip?"-Angelica asked.

"Yes, a lot!"-Leah answered so excited.

It was so windy that morning and it was raining a bit as well.

A few minutes later the other first years came and they all left for the school entrance. Professor John was waiting for them. A little bit later the first years from Eagles came with Jake leading them.

"What took you so long Jake?"-Angelica asked with a smile on her face.

"None of your business Anderson!"-he responded while passing her.

"Alright, alright. Calm down now. Did you get everything you need?"-professor John asked.

When all the students nodded. They left for the bus. Angelica and Jake helped everyone to get their things in place and went inside. In the bus Lyanna sat with Harry while Chloe and Leah sat together, luckily in the train they found a cabin and sat all together. Then Ethan with his friends Nik and Tessa came in their cabin.

"Everywhere else is full."-said Nik to Ethan opening the door.

The three of them just sat down and pretended that Lyanna, Harry, Chloe and Leah weren't there.

After three hours the train stopped. When they got out they felt like they were in a whole new world. It was green everywhere. In groups of three they put up the Tents.

The only rules were:

1. Only use spells when you want something done

2. No fighting with each other-unless it's for training

3. What prof. John says, it happens.

Early that evening Catherine joined them, however she did not meet the kids until the campfire.

After they light up a fire everyone sat around it and prof. John started talking:

"I am sure that you will all pass the challenges we will have in the coming days. Now before we continuo I would like you all to friendly welcome my friend who has agreed to help us in this trip, Catherine King."

Every one applauded, Catherine slightly bowed as a sign of gratitude and Leah whispered in Lyannas' ear: "Catherine King? Is that your mother?"

"Yes, yes she is?"-Lyanna replied.

"She's beautiful!"

"Thanks!"

Prof. John started talking again:

"Now as a reward we have hot chocolate for all of you" and after he snapped his fingers 3 times 20 cups with hot chocolate came for everyone.

Despite their different houses they all laughed, made jokes and drank hot chocolate until 12 o'clock that night. In the morning they woke up at 8. After eating breakfast prof. John and Catherine explained the plan for their first day:

"Gather around everybody. Today we will start our training. All of you should get a partner from the other house. So there should be one Eagle and one Tiger. Afterwards we will train first about survival and then about attack"-Prof. John said sitting in a cut tree.

"When you get together come here and write your names in this paper and until we get on the train for school you will be with that partner. Understood?"-added Catherine

"Yes ma'am"-all the kids said in a chore.

Lyanna went to find Ethan to ask if they could be partners, hoping she would get a chance to talk to him about why is he being so rude to her, looking around she didn't saw who was close to her and she crashed on Ethan.

"Hem, sorry!"-Lyanna said awkwardly.

"It's ok. I was actually coming to talk to you. Would you want to be partners?"-he responded nicely.

Lyanna chuckled and Ethan asked:

"What? We're you going to ask someone else?"-without waiting for an answer he turned his back, but Lyanna caught him on his arm and turned him around.

"No, I wasn't going to ask someone else. I laughed because I was coming to ask you that exact same question."

"So I guess we'll be partners wolfgirl."-he said with a smile

"I guess so, twinkle toe."

"Twinkle toe?! Where did you get that?"-Ethan asked confused.

"You walk so slowly even with my super hearing I find it hard to hear you. Why do you think we crashed?"

After everyone found a partner all together they went deeper in the woods where they were some animals lying in the ground.

"This week we've learned some easy spells which can save something or someone if they are injured. While we are here we will use those spells and things you have all learned before coming at school. If any time you need help just make a green light and me or Catherine will come and help you."-John explained.

"Now your first task is to save these animals with the help of your partner. I suggest you get started."-Catherine said clapping her hands 3 times and she with John disappeared.

Chloe was with Nik, Leah with Tessa and Harry was with a blonde girl.

After repeating "Sana, Animan, Vita" a couple of times moving their hands from the animals' neck to their tail, all the animals woke up bowed to their healers and went in the woods. Everyone was jubilant when they saw that they saved those animals lives.

A blue smoke appeared and from it Catherine and John came.

"Amazing! Now that wasn't so difficult, was it? Trust me it will get. Now your next task is to light up a fire. Easy right? But you will be tight back to back with your partner and to finish it you will have 1 hour and who doesn't by then...well we'll see what we'll do. Ready?"- Catherine said and then from her hand flew 9 strips and tight the partners back-to-back with each other.

"Now what?"-Ethan asked

"Now we try to reach for something sharp"-Lyanna said

After a few tries Ethan said:

"This is a waste of time, we won't get anything and we have to figure something out. I don't want to know what mom and John have in mind for those who lose."

"Alright. Umm...I have an idea but it might sound crazy."-Lyanna said hesitating.

"What is it?"

"You see those stick there? If you could get me there I could light them up."

"Without magic? That is crazy, hold tight."-yelled Ethan.

Right after that Ethan got on his feet holding Lyanna on his back. Everyone looked at them confused even Catherine and prof. John. Close to the sticks Ethan sat down.

"That was the worst thing I have ever tried and we are so not doing it again."-Lyanna said catching her breath.

"You got tired?! I was the one to hold you. Now put them on fire!"

"Well I had to stay in your back, which is so uncomfortable."-she responded and then caught the sticks.

Lyanna slightly touched them and they got fire.

"Ladies and gentleman! We have 2 winners Lyanna and Ethan King. Let's see who is next and who is last"-prof. John said while Catherine untied Lyanna's and Ethan's' stripe.

Harry and his partner Jessica were the not able to build a fire as promised they got a detention.

"I say no food or drinks accept water for none of them until tomorrow."-Tessa said from the back of the group.

Most of the kids agreed so Harry and Jessica had no food or drink for 24h.

"Your last task for today is to take out the snake poison from your partner. Don't worry the poison is not deadly and if your partner fails to take it out, Catherine and I will be the ones to take it out. Close to you there is a small bottle. That is the poison. The first half of it will the Tiger drink it and after they are healed the Eagle will drink the other half. We learned about this poison on Friday, however if any of you does not know what to do just make a green light."-John said.

Lyanna recognized the poison immediately, it was "Saturni dente relictam" used both as a cure and a deadly poison. It is not hard to take it out a cut in the first part that get paralyzed and just spit it out, however if too much of it gets in your mouth mixed with human blood it could get quite painful.

Immediately after Ethan drank it his right arm got paralyzed and Lyanna cut his arm and started putting the poison out. In the end her mouth was burning and Ethan poured her some cleared water.

The Lyanna drank it and her left shoulder got paralyzed. Ethan made a cut on her shoulder and said "de venenum" 4 times, the poison was completely out of Lyanna.

"Smart, twinkle toe"-Whispered Lyanna to Ethan on their way to Catherine and prof. John.

"Thanks! I was actually surprised that your big wolf head didn't think of it first."-he said pushing her a bit.

"My head is not big"-said Lyanna annoyed.

"Did you do it?"-prof. John asked.

"Yes sir"-both Lyanna and Ethan replied.

"Let's check it to be sure"

"If there is some left in me wolfgirl I will..."

"You will what, Ethan?"-Catherine said standing behind them.

"Mom, I was just joking."-he lied and Lyanna noticed it, but decided to ignore it.

"Right let's check."

Both Lyanna and Ethan had no poison.

"How did you finish both of these so fast, so good and so smart?"-Asked prof. John.

"I guess we make a good team, don't we?"-Ethan said.

"Sure we do."-Lyanna responded and then they both left.

Sitting on a corner with Ethan, Lyanna thought about asking him why was he so rude this whole week and now he is suddenly so nice, but then she saw something way more interesting.

"You see that?"-she asked pointing at Catherine and John.

"See what?"-Ethan asked confused.

"Professor John has been staring at mom since she got here."-she said.

"What?"-Ethan said, ready to say no he saw it too "Oh."

"Right, oh."-Lyanna said looking at John with an angry look. When Ethan saw that he said:

"You're not thinking about doing something, are you?"

"No, no, of course not. I was just thinking, were there really no one else to come with John here, that he had to ask mom?"

"I say we talk to mom about this."

"What? No! remember when he was at our house, mom wouldn't even look at us when we asked her why did he came."-Lyanna said turning to Ethan.

"All right, then what are we supposed to do?"

"I don't know. We can't do anything until we have proof."-she replied and went to her friends, later Ethan did the same.

After lunch they build a campfire again.

"Tonight we are going to play a little game. Starting with prof. John everyone will tell us: their full name, where they come from, their birthday and what they are best at. Professor?"

"Well my name is John Smith. My birthday is on September 15th 1988. I'm from Jenny I most good at teaching I guess, I've always loved to work with kids, especially see their excitement when they learn interesting things."

It went on like this and then came Lyanna's turn.

"My name is Lyanna King, Anna for close friends. I was born on August 4th 2007. I don't know where I was born but I grew up in Kings' land. I guess I'm really good at coming up with plans, for everything and making those plans come to life."

"My name is Harry Salvador, is actually Harvin but no one calls me lake that. My birthday is on August 4th 2007 as well. I live in Jenke and I think I'm really good at hunting."

"Al right Harry was the last and it is getting late. See you tomorrow morning here at 9."-Catherine said and everyone went to sleep.

In the morning they had to pack up and get back to school because a storm was coming and they couldn't do anything there now, however prof. John promised that the activities will be completed in school another day.

On the train Lyanna, Harry, Chloe and Leah got a small cabin for themselves.

"Great, we're alone." -Harry said closing the door and when he sat down he wouldn't stop staring at Lyanna.

"What is it Harry?"-Lyanna asked worried. Chloe and Leah seemed worried as well.

At first Harry hesitated then said:

"It's nothing. It can wait."

"No, tell me now Harry."-yelled Lyanna. Harry saw Lyanna wouldn't wait so he whispered on her ear:

"Lyanna do you know anything about your family? Your real family?"

"No, why?"

Then he continued, still whispering on her ear:

"When I was younger my older brother told me that I had a twin sister, but because she was born a werewolf, mom and dad had to send her away as it was not safe for her there. I went to my mom to ask her if that was true, she said it was expect true she was not born as a werewolf, but for her to survive my mom had to use her magic to turn her into a werewolf because she was born half dead. After my mom and dad had made sure that their daughter will live they wrote a letter and send it with my sister, although they never agreed to tell me her name and my siblings didn't even know that mom and dad had given her a name."

"Are you saying that Lyanna might be your twin sister?"-Chloe asked.

"How did you hear that?"-asked Harry confused.

"I have my ways. So is Lyanna your long lost twin sister?"-she asked again proudly while Leah had no idea what was going on.

"Do you remember the first day we met in Thornhill?"-Lyanna asked Harry.

Harry nodded and Lyanna continued.

"I wasn't interested in those werewolf things, to be honest if you wouldn't be there I wouldn't even recognize they had those things. But you were there and I came to talk to you. Not to make new friends as I said to my brother because I saw a dream a lot of times but the same thing: some people I didn't even know standing in front of a small house nothing else just standing there, frozen. And there he was one of them just standing there in front of me looking at werewolf stuff."

"What? Why haven't you talked about this before?"-Leah asked shocked more than ever.

"Because I felt stupid for even thinking that that was true."-Lyanna answered awkwardly laughing.

"There is only one way to prove this, a DNA test."-Chloe said

"How are we going to get a DNA test?"-asked Harry with his arms crossed.

"My mother is a doctor in a lab and she could help."

"What do you need?"-Lyanna asked. All her life she had been wondering who her family is and there is 50% that her brother is standing in front of her.

"Just a few drops of your blood."-Chloe answered giving them two empty bottles.

"Why do you have them with you?"-Harry asked.

"I keep them just in case, they might come in handy, just like now."-she answered.

They made a small cut on their arms and put a few blood drops in the separated bottles Chloe gave them

"When will she be able to give us answers?"-Lyanna asked shaking from both excitement and fear.

"One week after she gets the bottles. I'll make sureto send them to her as soon as we get to school."-Chloe answered.
