Full Moon: Wolf Is Coming

CHAPTER X The First Attack

October 1 arrived. This was the first time Lyanna would transform in this school and the whole day teachers were asking her if she was ok and if she needed anything. Soon she realized that she will be alone downstairs and a stomachache befallen her. At 10pm she went downstairs where headmaster Charles and professor John were waiting for her.

"Are you ready, Lyanna?"-asked Charles.

"Yes, sir"-Lyanna answered as grateful as she could.

"Come in then"-prof. John said with his hand forward.

After shocking the chains Charles and John got out.

"Umm, I've turned 2 times and 2 times I got out"-said Lyanna sitting down in front of the window.

"Do you think you are the first person to turn within these walls? These are strong walls so don't worry. When it is over we will come to let you out."-said Charles and then he closed the door.

For almost one hour nothing happened at all and then it started, black veins, broken bones and screams. It felt like it will never end. After a lot of screams and the veins getting darker and daker Lyanna left and a grey wolf took her place. The first thing she did was trying to get out, with all her power she tried to get out of the chains but soon she realized she couldn't so she just stayed there taking deep breaths. Charles and John were looking at her from a large window so high in the wall. And as the hours passed she fell down and Lyanna came back. Professor John came and sent her in her room.

"Lyanna, Lyanna! Get up! We're going to be late"

"Mhm, just 5 more minutes"-she responded to the voice.

"You know Ms. Smith does not accept lateness, no matter the excuse."

The thought of Ms. Smith yelling at her got Lyanna wide awake and she saw that Chloe was waiting for her. Chloe flew some clothes in Lyanna's bed. After getting ready Chloe said: "Today we have art club, we better not be late for it as we are for everything else."

"Us? Not late? Yeah, right."-Lyanna responded.

"I'm serious Anna!"

"So am I."

They went to potions class just in time so no one yelled at them. When Lyanna sat next to Harry he whispered:

"Did everything went alright last night?"

"Yeah, it did. It felt better than before. Not much but it was a bit better."-answered Lyanna grateful that Harry asked about her transformation.

"Quiet now!"-said Ms. Smith walking in the classroom. "Can anyone tell me if I wanted to make a glass of water turn to wine which potion should I use?"

Leah was the only one to raise her hand but Ms. Smith did not give her permission to talk.

"Dope"-whispered Lyanna so Ms. Smith could not hear her but Harry laughed so she did hear.

"Ms. King, Mr. Salvador do you have something to share with us?"-asked Ms. Smith looking straight in their eyes.

"No ma'am."-answered Lyanna politely.

"Then why are you talking while I'm teaching?"

"We weren't talking ma'am."- responded Harry.

"You are talking now aren't you?"

"Well that is how a conversation works. You also asked a question Leah obviously is the only one that knows the answer and yet you don't let her talk."-answered Harry.

Lyanna looked so confused, "Did Harry, Harry Salvador, the teachers' pet just said that?"-she thought.

"The day I need teaching lessons from you Mr. Salvador will be the day I retire"-said Ms. Smith and turned back in top of the class. "So, does anyone know the answer?"

"Does that mean she will retire today?"-Lyanna whispered again.

"Ms. King, interrupt my class one more time and together with your friend Mr. Salvador you will go straight to the headmaster's office!"-yelled Ms. Smith again writing something on the table. "So, does anyone know the answer?"

Leah was again the only one that raised the hand but again Ms. Smith ignored her.

"There is no way she could have heard you."-whispered Harry.

"OUT, OUT! BOTH OF YOU GET OUT OF MY CLASS TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE! NOW!"-Ms. Smith yelled, pointing at the door. There Lyanna and Harry had no other choice but to get out.

Close to the headmasters' office Angelica and James were looking worried like hell.

"Is everything ok?"-Lyanna asked.

"We can't find Tom anywhere."-Angelica answered with her head down.

"Have you seen him somewhere?"-asked James, hopping one of them would give good news.

"I saw him this morning in the common room. He was in a hurry to meet with you guys."-Harry answered.

"He didn't show up."-Angelica explained.

"Maybe he's in the bathroom"-said Lyanna trying to calm them down but even she didn't believe that.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?"-remembered Angelica.

"Well, Ms. Smith told us to go to the headmaster's office"-said Harry.

"Well go on then!"-ordered James.

Lyanna and Harry went to the headmaster's office and he was waiting for them.

"What did you two do now?"-asked Charles.

"Nothing"-Lyanna replied quickly. "Nothing wrong at least."

"Have a seat"-said Charles showing to seats in front of him with his hand and after they sat he continued "Who send you here?"

"Ms. Smith"-Harry answered

"And what did you do Lyanna?"

"Well she..."-started Lyanna to say but Charles interrupted her.

"Not 'she' Lyanna, Ms. Smith is not your friend but your teacher. So you address her 'Ms. Smith' or 'professor'. Understand?"

"Yes, sorry! Umm, Ms. Smith asked a question and Leah was the only one to know the answer, however she...sorry...Ms. Smith ignored her completely."

"So you chose to interrupted. Am I right?"

Both Lyanna and Harry nodded.

"Ms. Smith tells me that she warned you and yet you interrupted her class again. Why? Were you trying to get out of her class in purpose?"

"No we weren't doing it to get out."-Lyanna answered.

"Well I shall give you a detention. Starting from tomorrow in detention class from 5-6pm for 1 week."

"May I ask who will be the benchmark?"-asked Lyanna.

"Ms. Smith"-said Charles and after seeing Lyannas' and Harrys' face turn white he added "I suggest you go in her class apologize and tomorrow behave well."-he wrote something down, gave the letter to Lyanna and said: "Make sure you give this to Ms. Smith. You may go now."

Lyanna and Harry went back to class. As soon as Ms. Smith saw them angrily she said:

"What are you doing back here?"

Lyanna gave the letter to Ms. Smith and Harry said:

"We're sorry we laughed in your class"

"No I'm not and you aren't either"-thought Lyanna but she realized it was a better idea to keep her mouth shut this time.

"See you tomorrow at 6 o'clock then. And if you're late just 1 minute I will make sure that you will have 1 extra week"-threatened Ms. Smith.

Eating breakfast Lyanna and Harry explained to Chloe and Leah that Tom was nowhere to be found. None of them liked him much but they got worried when they learned he was missing.

When they were done talking Angelica came to them and said:

"They found Tom."-her eyes were shinning, but the rest of the face told a different story.

"Really? Where?"-asked Lyanna, then she saw that Angelica was more worried then how she was before so she asked quietly: "What happened?"

"He's in the nursery. Covered in stone. James is with him but they told me to come and eat something. How can I eat when my best friend is turned to stone?"-Angelica responded and then left running.

The four kids turned to the teachers table but no one was there. Than they turned to the Eagles table. They were all eating like nothing had happened although Lyanna sensed some evil there.

"I'm not feeling well. Maybe I should go to the nursery and get something."-said Lyanna with a smile on her face and left.

In the nursery all the teachers and the nurse Ms. Osborne were gathered around a bed. "I called the ambulance, they are coming to take him" a male voice said but Lyanna could not recognize it. Professor John saw Lyanna and asked: "What are you doing here?"

"I wasn't feeling well and I was hoping Ms. Osborne could give me something"-Lyanna said shaking

"What is it dear?"-Ms. Osborne asked with her lovely voice.

"I'm feeling dizzy."-Lyanna responded, when she saw the teachers and Ms. Osborn just stay there she added "And I have a terrible headache."

"Well did you eat anything?"-Ms. Osborn asked while searching for something on the shelf.

"Yes an egg but that did not help."

"Here mix this with water and drink it. If after an hour you still don't get any better come again."-said Ms. Osborne giving Lyanna a small purple bottle.

"Thank you"-said Lyanna taking the bottle and headed back to her friends. They were waiting for her where she had left them.

"So? What did you see?"-asked Chloe.

"Angelica wasn't kidding. Tom really turned to stone."-answered Lyanna quietly so no one else could hear.

"Hey has anyone seen Mike Melton. He went with Tom outside but didn't come back?"-asked a boy from second year.

"No, we haven't seen him, sorry mate!"-replied Harry.

"It's ok."-said the boy and went to ask the others about Mike.

No further classes were held that day and in the evening headmaster Charles held a speech:

In the common room of Tigers they were still thinking about it and soon Lyanna said.

"We should do something"

"What?"-asked Harry.

"First we find Mike, then we stop this madness."

"How?"-asked Leah.

"I don't know. We'll figure something out."

"What if they sent us home?"-asked Chloe.

"They won't."-replied Lyanna then added "I heard them talking earlier. Before entering the nursery. They've been at this situation before. They said that some creature named gargoyles caused this. And it is safer for us to stay here."

"Let's find those gargoyles then!"-said Leah cheerfully.

The following week was useless according to Lyanna. They woke up every day, went to class, Lyanna and Harry went to their detention while Chloe and Leah went to the library to find some answers, at 6 Lyanna and Harry joined them and they stayed there until late at night trying to find anything that could help them. Every day when Lyanna and Harry joined Chloe and Leah the same question was asked and the same reply we given:

"Did you find anything?"

"Nothing."

They even spend the weekend trying to figure something out, but nothing. It was like gargoyles didn't even exist. Then one day in the common room of Tigers when they were ready to give up Harry came up with a plan.

"I can't do this anymore!"-complained Leah.

"Me neither. We haven't found anything searched the whole library."-agreed Chloe.

Lyanna was ready to say that she doesn't want to this anymore either when Harry said:

"Maybe we shouldn't look at the library."

The three girls looked at him confused then he explained:

"Anna where did you hear the teachers say that this has happened before, at the nursery right?"

Lyanna nodded and then Harry continued:

"Maybe there is where should we look."

"It's useless and a waste of time"-said Chloe. "A couple of weeks ago I helped Ms. Osborne organize the nursery, all of it, there is nothing that could help us there."

Now the four of them looked hopeless. After a few minutes Harry said:

"The headmaster's office!"

The girls looked at him confused so she continued:

"That is where the important documents stay."

"If I can get in I will be able to find something if it is there."-suggested Lyanna

"How will you get in? The only way is if you get in trouble."-said Harry. "Big troubles, no teacher will send you there now for some noises"

"Only a fight will get you in the headmaster's office"-said Leah.

Harry looked at Lyanna with an evil smile.

"What?"-she asked worried.

Then Chloe and Leah started to look at her like that too.

"All right guys I don't like this smile and the fact that the three of you are doing it terrifies me."-said Lyanna.

"Do you miss Ethan, Lyanna?"-asked Harry without taking that smile off.

"Oh no, no, no, no, mhm, I won't do it, mhm."-said Lyanna moving backwards.

"Come on, it is our only way. And you want to settle this thing between you too once and for all, right? And you want revenge for what he did to you, right?"-said Chloe trying to convince her.

"First of all I don't want revenge. They say if you go for revenge first open 2 graves so I choose to live. Second we settled this weeks ago. Third I'm sure there are better plans."-said Lyanna angry.

"When have you ever believed in that?"-Harry asked her suspected.

"Then no revenge. Just pick a fight while a teacher is near. "-said Chloe.

"Well why don't you do it, if you're so smart?"-asked Lyanna very disturbed now.

"Well, Chloe is the artsy, Leah is the brain, I'm the sport guy and you are the strength"-explained Harry.

"Hmm, I like that"-said Lyanna.

"So will you do it?"-asked Chloe and Leah together.

"Fine"-said Lyanna "but each of you own me 5 silver pieces and you will finish my homework for 1 week"

"3 days"-said Chloe after they looked at each-other.

"Deal."

The next day they saw Ethan, Tessa and Nik in the hallway. Ethan put his feet near Lyanna and she almost fell down.

"Watch where you're going wolfgirl."-said Ethan with a smirk.

"Oh yeah? Maybe, you should be careful where you put your feet."-replied Lyanna.

"What are you going to do, wolfgirl? Bite me?"-started Ethan to tease Lyanna.

"I'm seriously thinking about it."-said Lyanna trying to keep her temper in control.

"What's keeping you then? Your mom? Oh, wait. Sorry!"

"Well clearly you miss your mommy, twinkle toe."-said Lyanna really hurt from what Ethan said.

"You take that back, wolfgirl!"

"Make me"

And that's where the big fight started. Ethan pushed Lyanna, she pushed him and then they threw punches and kicks at each-other. Later Lyanna managed to lay Ethan down and punched his face, however that didn't last, Ethan put his hand on her belly and with a single move they switched places. Harry and Nik stepped in and held them back.

"Get your hands of me"-yelled Ethan to Harry, but he didn't listen.

Both Lyanna's and Ethan's' nose was covered in blood. Ms. Smith and Mr. John made their way through the crowd. They took Lyanna and Ethan and send them to the headmasters' office.

"What happened?"-asked Charles when he saw the kids in blood.

"A misunderstanding I hope"-said Mr. John.

"It wasn't a misunderstanding, sir."-said Ethan madly.

"Than what was it?"-asked Ms. Smith.

"Why don't you have a seat?"-interrupted Charles.

"I'm sure it was all Ms. Kings' fault. After all she is a...well we all know what she is."-said Ms. Smith.

"That is a terrible thing to say. She's a student as her brother is."-said John very disturbed from Ms. Smiths' words.

"That is a terrible accusation"-said Charles "What if she would be in Eagles?"

"Luckily I'm not."-said Lyanna she couldn't even stand the thought of her being in Eagles.

"Why don't you tell me what happened? First Lyanna than Ethan"-said Charls to calm the situation.

"I was walking in the hallway with my friends and then Ethan put his feet in front of mine and I almost fell, first we argued than one word led to the other and he pushed me, I pushed him back and then we started hitting each other until two other students stepped in and stopped us"-explained Lyanna.

"Is that what happened, Ethan?"-asked Charles.

"Yes, sir"-said Ethan quietly with his head down.

"Well, since it is like that I should give detention just to you Ethan. Do you understand why?"

"Yes, sir"-said Ethan without moving.

Charles must have noticed that there was something wrong so he said:

"Go join your friends. I don't want something like this to happen again, otherwise I will be forced to suspend both of you. Am I clear?"-said Charles.

"Yes, sir"-answered Lyanna and Ethan. They both left. At the door Ethan left Lyanna go first and they lost sight of each-other.

After going to Ms. Osborne to get some ice for the nose Lyanna went in the garden close to the fountain Chloe, Harry and Leah were waiting for Lyanna.

"So did you find anything?"-asked Chloe.

"First you give me my money"-said Lyanna trying to get herself in a better mood.

"Fine"-said Harry putting his hand in a pocked reaching for money.

After handing 15 pieces of silver to Lyanna he moved a bit so Lyanna could sit in the stool.

"Well I found this"-said Lyanna showing a piece of paper than she added "Don't worry I didn't steel it. I just copied it"

"What is it?"-asked Leah excited.

"Seems like a prophecy"-said Lyanna.

"Wait! Before we get to that tell us how you took it."-said Chloe with a worried tone.

Lyanna didn't understand why she was worried, nothing had happened.

"As I said I didn't take it I copied it. I have my ways of doing things."-said Lyanna but seeing that Chloe wasn't satisfied yet she added "There is nothing to worry about, no one saw me"

"All right let's see what you found."-said Chloe smiling.

Lyanna opened the letter and read it:

"2 questions will be given 1 answer will never be replied. When the chains of darkness rise and the night consumes everything the Dark Moon will rise once again. Led by the forgotten song until the oceans will burn. Your now and always isn't always after all."

"What is that supposed to mean?"-asked Leah trying to hold back her fear but Lyanna listened to her heartbeat which was really fast.

"I guess we are about to find out"-said Harry, however he didn't seem worried.

"You're not worried?"-asked Lyanna confused.

"Oh, I'm terrified. What makes you say that?"-answered Harry calmly.

"Nothing"-said Lyanna looking at the paper.

"Did you saw anything else that might help?"-asked Chloe.

"Nothing, but while I was there I remembered that at the beginning of the year Angelica told us that the basement is f*******n to everybody. So I was thinking maybe we might get a new lead if we check it out."-she answered.

"That's not a bad idea Anna, but the question is how do we get in there?"-Harry asked looking down at his sister.

"Should I really figure everything out?"-Lyanna said and after a brief pause she continued "The girls' bathroom on the first floor leads straight to the basement."

"Do we want to know how you know that?"-Chloe asked a bit worried but smiling.

"Ummm, no you don't."-Lyanna replied and continued "So here's the plan. Frist we wait for nightfall, then we sneak down to the girls' bathroom and go in the basement, there we look for something that might help, we won't stay longer than 30 minutes, if we don't find anything for that we go back, then slowly we go in the common room."

"I have 2 questions."-said Harry.

"Yes Harry?"-Lyanna responded.

"Why do we have to wait until nightfall and why can't we search for longer than 30 minutes?"

"Wonderful questions. So we go in nightfall because that is when all the activities end and we can't stay for longer than 30 minutes because if we won't be around for that long people will start wondering where we are."-Lyanna replied proudly.

"What if we get caught?"-Leah asked.

"We won't."-Chloe said, they all looked at her confused "It's better if just me and Leah go, you two have already gotten in so much trouble, besides you can convince them that we are not lost."

"That doesn't seem like a bad idea."-said Harry.

Lyanna and Harry went to the common room while Leah and Chloe went to the girls' bathroom.

"I hate that they get to do all the fun in this one."-said Lyanna to Harry when they reached the common room. As soon as they got in Angelica rushed at them ad said furiously:

"What were you thinking Lyanna? Getting in a fight with an Eagle."

"It was nothing. And don't get mad, it doesn't suit you."-Lyanna said pushing her a bit so she could get moving then turned around and said "Besides, he started it."

"And you clearly finished it."-Angelica said.

"Well thank you!"

"You're proud of it? Seriously?"

"I'm not proud Angelica, he was my brother and it is not my fault you were right about him and Eagles. So please don't lecture me about it."-yelled Lyanna.

"Fine, just promise me it won't happen again."

"I promise."-said Lyanna lowering her voice.

After that Lyanna and Harry sat close to the window and waited for Leah and Chloe. After almost 30 minutes they got inside, but they didn't go to Lyanna and Harry, instead they went in their room. Harry looked confused but then Lyanna explained:

"I told them to do that. They can't say that information in front of all of them. So they will tell that to us in there."

"Right, but I'm not allowed there Anna."-Harry responded looking at her so innocent.

"Then you stay here I'll go and then we figure out how to tell you."-said Lyanna and went to her room where Chloe and Leah were waiting for her.

"So, did you found anything?"-whispered Lyanna.

"Nothing that could help, but we learned why it is forbidden."-Leah answered white as snow.

"What happened?"-Lyanna asked worried.

"It was cold, and there were some bones, dragon bones."-explained Chloe.

"What? Dragon bones? Why would there be dragon bones in this schools' basement?"-asked Lyanna.

"Lyanna we seriously don't want to talk about it right now!"-said Chloe. "Could you go tell that to Harry, we're going to bed now."

"Right, right, of course I'm sorry. Yeah I'll go tell him that, good night."-said Lyanna walking backwards to the door. After she told Harry the news they stayed there pretending that they were talking for a while and then both went to their rooms and laid down in bed.
