“Are you out of your mind Samantha?”
Wide eyed and bewildered Sabine exclaimed as she saw how flirtatious her sister can at such a young age. “He doesn’t belong in these kinds of events. Let alone in the world we move in. It is only for the rich and powerful.”
“You don’t get a say on who I want to invite, Sabine.” Countered Samantha. “It’s my birthday, anyway, and not yours. I will invite whoever the hell i want to invite”
“ You and your stupidity!” Barked Sabine.
She hates her sister’s thick faced attitude, her flirtatiousness, and most of all her stupidity. While she’s intelligent and a perfectionist, her sister Samantha is stupid and shallow. Rude to say the least but that is the truth of the matter.
“What I do with my life is my business and not yours,” she answered dismissively. She gave her a look that could kill and swung her attention to Rojan who has been amused by the sisters’ interaction in front of him. “ Take the invitation Rojan, I’ll see you tonight,” she said with that sweet ass smile again before turning around and looking back as she blew him a kiss.
Rojan was left beside Sabine with a sour look on her face. He can sense how she felt about him being invited to a gathering of the rich. He is definitely unwelcome by her. But then here he is with an invitation on his hand. He looked at it again and smiled. The hell he cared what anyone thinks. He’s going. He gave Sabine a smug look before leaving and smiled all the way.
If only he knows how Sabine felt. She definitely does not approve socializing with the likes of him. He’s a peasant for crying out loud. Doomed to be poor through out his whole life. Her sister doesn’t deserve a life too different from what she has right now. They may not always see eye to eye or get along every time but she cares for her future. Silently Sabine made a promised to talk it out with Samantha. And she’ll make sure to open her eyes and make her see the truth.
