“How do you feel, queen Adelaide?” I- I shouldn’t Have asked that. The queen seems like she’s about to cry. She must’ve heard about what happened back in Balthair.
“Your holiness- the necromancer, she told me what happened to my sisters in Balthair. Is it true? Please say it’s not true.” I shake my head no.
“No! This can’t be happening! Several of the sisters are pregnant! I- I need to be there! They need proper burial!” I placed a hand on the queen’s shoulder.
“You are not well enough to make the journey, your highness. I-,” the queen suddenly grabbed on both of my hands.
“Please, your holiness. I need to see my sisters for the last time. I feel much better now that the necromancer had cured me. Please- I’ll do anything for you and this empire if you let me see
