Chapter 28 You Were Drunk

1038 Words

While having lunch, Raine still felt a sharp pain in the corner of her mouth. To avoid hurting her lips, she ate cautiously, her exaggerated grimaces making the maid nearby stifle a laugh. Raine felt that even eating wasn't enjoyable anymore. She put down her spoon with a hint of irritation. She clearly remembered not hitting anything last night, so why did she wake up with a swollen spot on her mouth? She turned her gaze towards Damien beside her and tentatively asked, "Last night... nothing unusual happened, right?" Damien glanced at her from the corner of his eye, then quickly lowered his gaze. He replied calmly, "No." "So how did I get back?" Raine continued to ask. "This is my house. How else do you think you got back?" Damien didn’t even look up. "What, did you crawl back?"
