Evie’s POV As soon as the fighting starts, Ty tries to get me to ride safely away and out of the fray. I refuse, of course. I don’t want to make the fighting harder for him, but I also want to remain close enough to actually see what’s going on. What if he gets hurt? It’s one against close to a hundred, after all. So, instead, I ride back a good twenty paces, ensure that my back is to a craggy cliff that no one can sneak up on me from, and wait. I saw Ty fight quite a bit yesterday.
