Evie’s POV “This is it,” Ty says about an hour later when we reach the edge of the forest we’ve been riding through. “This is the Umbra border.” I shudder at the thought. The good news is that if we’ve reached the Umbra border, we’re only about two hours from the Vila border—our destination. The bad news is that we will be in significant danger in the Umbra Badlands. “Two more hours,” he says, clearly thinking the same thing I am. “Are you and Odin up for it, or do you need to take a break?” I’ve lost track of how long we’ve been running, but the sun looks to be a few hours from setting, and the last thing I want is to get stuck here at dark. “We’ll be fine.” He nods, then continues walking in silence.
