Look, I know I should be happy for Ty. He spent his whole life being mocked, teased, and berated for being a Red Wolf, and now that very identity is earning him respect and even the chance to prove himself as the leader he was born to be.
It’s just, every time I watch him come into this new identity, I watch my own identity fade further away. Evie is literally gone—not only her title, but even her wolf—even herself. And the man she loves—the man who was always so far beneath her in ranking—is suddenly miles out of her league.
