Ty’s POV I could fight them. There are only a handful of them, and they’re obviously no match for me. Tristan and his brothers might try to step in, but they aren’t a match for me, either. I probably should fight them. My duty is to protect Evie, and I can’t do that from the dungeons. Then again, if I do fight them, I’ll only prove them right about my being a traitor. Which will leave me to either slaughter the entire kingdom and leave the ashes to myself and Evie, or finally accept defeat. Reluctantly, I allow them to take me. “Ty!” Evie wails.
