Fort Eclipse

1715 Words

Ty’s POV We don’t speak much for the rest of the trip. I only last another twenty minutes or so riding behind her, inhaling her torturously good scent and feeling her tiny, irresistible body pressed against my chest, before I have to get back off. Sensing that she isn’t up for much conversation, I shift into my wolf and trot alongside Odin for most of the journey. When we get close to Fort Eclipse, I come to a stop again and shift back. “You’re going to have to leave him somewhere out here,” I tell her, gesturing to the horse. “He’s a distinctive horse, and if any outside packs see him in the Eclipse stables, they’ll immediately know you’re at the fort.” She nods reluctantly, then swings down off his back. She unfastens the noseband and throat latch from his bridle, then slides it off.
