Tia’s pov
Skylar and I got married six months after I got back home. He has been an amazing husband. We sold his house and moved closer to Derek and Layla. I just didn’t want to be far from Layla. Sometimes I felt like she was the only one that understood me.
I haven’t been back to work. I actually work with Layla in her boutique. I have a fear of being around a lot of people now. I don’t leave unless Derek or Skylar is with me. I have been in counseling for the last two years. I am a work in process.
Deacon is in his terrible two’s stage. He never wants to leave Skylar’s side. They are very close. I love seeing them together. I can’t wait for our daughter to be born. I am six months along now. We wanted to wait for a child so that Deacon had a chance to be a baby.
