Chapter 21Tia’s pov Niko came and told me I could go back into Layla’s room. I knew I shouldn’t, but I trusted Niko. He told me why he did what he did. I have been taking care of his son for him while I have been here. He’s such a sweet little four-year-old. I hate that he is caught up in this mess. When I went back into Layla’s room, she looked happy. She smiled for the first time in a week. Did she know something I didn’t? Had she finally lost her mind? She has been so sick so maybe she was delirious with a fever. I was really worried about her. “Layla is everything okay?” She looked at me and patted her bed. I went over and sat beside her. I was scared about what she was going to say. She just looked so happy and free right now. “We are going home.” I wanted to believe that, but
