Chapter Five

Bella

"How're you doing?" I asked Justin the moment I met him in school "I'm fine and I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I didn't mean to make a big fight in your place" Justin said "It's fine" I said

"You do know that we're going to be late for class right?" Lucy said "s**t" I cursed the moment I found that we only had one minute left "Run, run" Tiana said.

And that is how we started our day

"Kids, we're having guests for dinner" Aunt Carrie yelled from downstairs "Who's coming?" Brandon asked "Sandra, Danial and the boys" Aunt Carrie answered

"But before anyone starts their work, girls please come down because I want to talk to you about something" Aunt Carrie yelled from downstairs. In seconds Tiana, Lucy and I were in the kitchen with Carrie

"What is it mom?" Lucy asked "I don't know what happened yesterday in the dinner but I want the three of you to make sure that whatever happened doesn't happen again" Aunt Carrie said.

"Mom what happened yesterday wasn't supposed to happen, it was a misunderstanding that happened between the boys" Tiana explained

"Look, girls, there's something that three of you are not telling me but that doesn't matter, just make sure that the fight doesn't happen again" Aunt Carrie said, and with that, she left

"Why do the three of them bother to come, I mean they don't even want to come" Lucy said referring to Christopher, Seth and Adam. "I don't know, but we have to get ready for the dinner or mum will get mad" Tiana said and we nod in agreement

The three of us went back to our rooms, and right before I could take out a shirt to wear Lucy and Tiana barged into my room "You're going to wear a dress" Lucy said "No. I am not" I said "Yes you are. Remember what mom did when you wore jeans and a shirt when we had guests?" Tiana reminded me

"Ya, I know" I said "So, do you really want mom to take your phone away from you for a month?" Lucy said. I looked at Lucy, then Tiana and then to the dress, Lucy was holding "Give me the dress" I said and took the dress away from her.

It took me ten minutes to get dressed and brush my hair in a ponytail. Right after I was done wearing my shoes, some on knocked on the front door; I sighed and went downstairs

"Lucy and Tiana please get the table ready, Brandon gets the cups and Bella please get the door" Aunt Carrie instructed.

I took a deep breath and went to open the door "Hey Mr and Mrs Danial" I said with a smile "Hey honey. You look even prettier than yesterday" she said admiring my dress.

I was wearing a knee dress that was peach in colour but was black lace from the top, I matched the dress with a flat black ballerina.

"Thanks" I said with a smile "Please, come in" I said. Danial and Sandra walked inside and behind them was Cameron, and before he could open his mouth I knew his question "Brandon is in his room" I said making him feel a little embarrassed.

"Come in" I said to Adam, Seth and Christopher who were standing outside the house as if they were forced to be here.

In a few minutes, all of us were sitting in the dining table awkwardly like last time but the awkward silence was cut when Danial asked Markus a question

"Markus, I wanted to ask you a question but I hope that I'm not pressuring you in anything" Danial said "No, anything. Ask anything you want" Markus said

"Sandra and I are supposed to leave for a business trip in about an hour, so I was wondering if you could let Cameron and the boys stay here because Adam and Seth were staying at our house since their parents are having some work in Chicago" Danial said

"Of course not, they can stay here as long as they want to" Markus said.

And with that, our parents started talking as if nothing happened. A few hours later Sandra and Danial left for their business trip

"Kids Carrie and I have a shift in the hospital, so I think we'll be coming late. Oh and Bella Justin's waiting outside" Markus informed us and with that they left. I ran outside finding Justin standing outside.

"Hey" I greeted him with a smile "Hey" he said looking upset "Can I sleepover today?" he asked "Your dad?" I ask feeling sad; he nodded giving me a sad smile. I walked towards him and gave him a hug "It's okay you can stay here like always. You'll find your clothes in your drawer that is in my bedroom" I told him, he nods and ran upstairs.

I looked at him feeling sad. Justin's dad has to get drunk at least once a week. Justin's dad, Ben feels really upset because his wife is sick and he can do nothing about it. And every time he gets drank he doesn't allow anyone to enter the house.

Justin's brother that is one year younger than him always go to his friends, and as for Justin he always comes and sleepovers here. Aunt Carrie knows about it and she even told him to get some clothes and keep it here in case he comes to sleep over.

"BELLA" Lucy yelled from the living room "YA, I'M COMING" I yelled back. I walked inside to find Lucy and Tiana standing awkwardly in front of the three boys who're sitting on the couch.

"There's a small problem" Lucy said "Ya, and what's that?" I ask raising an eyebrow "My room, as well as Tiana's room, is kind of busy" Lucy said "What do you mean?" I ask confused

"Well you see Tiana and I decided to rearrange our cupboard and we didn't have time to place our clothes back in the cupboard" Lucy said "So?" I ask "Everything is outside, and I mean everything" she whispered, "What're we going to do?" I ask

This is bad. Completely horrible. How's Christopher, Adam, Seth and Justin going to sleep in one room without ending up in the hospital.

"How about Christopher, Seth and I sleep in the living room while you girls and Justin sleep in the Bella's bedroom" Adam suggested "I think that's a good idea" Lucy said "No, Justin's going to sleep here with us, I mean your aunt will not like the idea of her daughters sleeping with Justin in one room" Christopher said in a cold voice

"No, she's fine with that. Besides it's not the first time for Justin to sleepover in my bedroom" I said making sure not to look him in the eyes.

Lucy, Tiana and I walked upstairs to my bedroom to find Justin resting on my bed "Hey where's Brandon and Cameron?" I ask "They're in Brandon's bedroom, I just checked on them" Tiana said.

I switched off the lights, and in seconds Tiana and Lucy were sleeping on my bed while Justin was resting in the sleeping bag. I walked towards him and noticed that his eyes were red "Justin" I whispered making him left his head

"I can't do it" he said trying to hold his tears. I walked towards him and gave him a hug "Justin, I'm your best friend. Talk to me. Tell me what's wrong" I said

"Bella you're like my sister and I don't want to let you down like I have let my own brother" he said "Justin you're like my brother as well and you never let me down. Don't ever blame yourself about what's happening with your mum and dad" I informed him

"Thanks Bella, you're like the sister that I never had" he said with a small laugh "And you're like the older brother that I never had" I said with a smile.

I walked towards the bed and cuddled with my pillow "Good night Bella" Justin whispered "Good night Justin" I said giving him a sad smile

I really hope I could help his mother.

I really do

I sigh softly as I wipe my tears and rest my head against the wall "Why would he do this?" I whisper to myself as my fingertips slowly trace the outline of his face in the picture

"You deserved it"

My head snaps to the right and my eyes go wide as I lock eyes with his

"I didn't do anything" I stated and he smirks "What did you expect Bella, that you would change me? That you being both the good and bad girl, this would attract me?" he questioned and I tighten my jaws "You can't change me, Bella, you couldn't get over your past and change" he stated "Then how do you expect to change me as well?"

"You deserve everything bad happened to you" I snap at him without thinking

His eyes locked with mine and I can see the anger in his eyes

"I hate you" he whispered "I regret meeting you, you b***h"

I tighten my fist and spit at his face "I regret even the second I looked at your face, asshole"
