Piercing the Hearts Depths

Chapter 1

Manila

I just landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport from France for my Paris fashion week at Dior with my personal assistant Dia.. I am wearing my Dior plain white short-sleeve sweater and my favorite Christian Dior Macrocannage cropped jacket, and I paired it with a Dior Macrocannage Flared mini skirt, my Louboutin heels, and my Hermes Diamond Himalaya Birkin bag. When I got out of the plane, I took off my Macrocannage cropped jacket and my Yves Saint Laurent blaze sunglasses.

My manager will be the one who fetches us. While waiting, I just sat here in the lounge for a little while. Seeing a lot of people walking by, I feel like a poor kitten. Well, I don’t want to exaggerate, but I kind of feel exhausted. A 17-hour flight wasn’t easy, especially since I did not sleep on the plane. I know that my manager is really slothful and acts like a turtle.

As I saw my manager walking, I immediately stood and went to him/ her. Well, she’s gay. I don’t know why it took him so long to come over here to fetch us. Maybe she went to his boyfriend.

“Why did it take so long for you to fetch us? You’re late; it’s already 3:30,” I asked her.

“I’m just about five minutes late,” she told me.

“What 5 minutes? We arrived at two o’clock in the afternoon and waited for like an hour,” I told her. “Don’t be overreacting,” she told me.

While she got all my things, I just rolled my eyes and followed her. “Maybe you went to your boyfriend’s house,” I told her.

She just chuckled. And said, “How did you know?”

“I knew that you actually went there, and what did you do there?” I answered her while laughing.

“Do you really want me to elaborate on what we did in his house?” she answered.

“Eww!! That is so gross!” I answered.

She just laughed and said, “You’re asking why I went there.”

“Whatever,” I said, and I walked past him and got my things. When we went out at the airport, the first thing that greeted us was the warmth of the breeze. The scorching heat of Manila really plunges into my skin.

“Don’t worry, my dear, I have another car with me that I let your bodyguard drive. Don’t worry, since you really had a hectic schedule last week before you went home here in the Philippines, I just want you to unwind while using your car. Don’t worry, we just followed behind you, and I’ll take care of your things,” she said.

“Unwind in this hot weather! Well, I don’t have any choice anymore. Let’s go. I’m so tired anymore.” I told her. I don’t want to argue anymore. This conversation will not end.

I went to my Lamborghini Huracan Sypder Evo in a shade of red and touched it. The reflection of the cloudy blue sky on my shining red car is really captivating. When I entered my car, the first thing that greeted me was the smell of my favorite Chanel Coco Mademoiselle L’eau Privée Eau Pour la Nuit perfume. It’s sweet, fresh like a delicate rose, and reminiscent of wine.

As I drove my car, I opened the roof so I could smell the refreshing air. While driving, I saw my big billboard in Edsa Guadalupe for the upcoming campaign of the Balmain Summer 2024 collection to celebrate realness and honesty. I went out to my car as I arrived at the parking lot of my condo in Aurelia Residences. My parents bought this condo when I turned 18 as a gift. This place has the best view of the cosmopolitan skyline and a vivid view of the city lights.

When we went inside the elevator, me, my manager, and Dia didn’t talk. Maybe because we are both tired from jetlag and want to doze off. My condo unit is located in room 007 on the 17th floor. When we entered, my manager, Sassy, spoke and told me about my schedule for this coming month.

“Darling, your schedule for this month is really hectic, but don’t worry, I will give you one week of vacation so you can visit your parents in Davao.” She told me.

“Ok, but my parents are not in Davao right now; they are here in Manila. So what is my schedule for this month?” I asked her tiringly.

As she looked at her iPad, she said, “You have an upcoming photoshoot next week for the Givenchy campaign in 2024 and a cover photoshoot for the Vogue December issue, and you will walk in the upcoming Prada fashion week next week in Milan. After your photoshoot for Vogue, you will fly to Milan.”

“Okay, please send me a soft copy of my schedule. I’ll just call my mom, and if you leave, please lock the door,” I said while walking inside my bathroom to take a pee

“Okay, take care here, and if there is a problem, just call me,” my manager Sassy said. “Dia put her things in her room. And open the windows so that the wind will come inside,” Sassy said. .

“Okay, ma’am Sassy,” Dia said. I heard them talking outside. When I go out to my bathroom, all my things are in my room anymore, and when I go outside my room, my manager Sassy and Dia have already left.

I went to my kitchen, and I saw that I didn’t have any food. Maybe I’ll just order at the Food Panda since I’ve been craving Jollibee lately. I downloaded the app and started ordering. While cleaning my room, I heard the doorbell ring. When I opened the door, the delivery man said, “Good evening, ma’am. This is your order. 730 pesos only.”

“Thank you so much,” as I pay and give 1000 pesos.

“Ma’am, your change is 270 pesos,” he said.

“No, it’s okay; keep the change,” I said.

“Thank you so much, ma’am.”. The delivery man said

“No problem,” I said, closed the door, and went to my kitchen. Since the food was here, I started eating. And after I cleaned up all my mess and washed the dishes, I went to my room, removed all my clothes, and went to the bath tub. I really need this to relax after the long flight. And after I did my nightly skin care routine, I walked into bed and turned off my lampshade.
