Breaking Out

Astrids POV

I was laying on my bed staring at the ceiling. I couldn't stop thinking about what Caleb unknowingly admitted. I could have killed him right then and there but I didn't. I needed to be smart about this escape.  So can we go over the plan again?   Bella asked me. Sure babe, Caleb will be coming in at 12 to train I continued. I'll suggest we go out to lunch because I can practice my shifting I finished. Then when he goes to pay you'll get his pin number? Bella asked. Exactly I said. Sure enough at 11:59 am I heard distant sounds of feet coming towards my room. 'Here goes nothing' I thought to myself. "Alright kiddo ready to train?" Caleb asked me with a smile. "Sure I was thinking we could train with my shifting powers today" I stated. "Okay what did you have in mind?" He asked. "Well I want to make sure I'm believable. So I figured we could go to lunch then when its time to pay I was shift into you to see if I can fool the cashier." I said with a smirk. He was falling right into my plan and didn't even know it. "Sure sounds good" He said with a smirk.

After a short drive Caleb and I had made it to the restaurant. I studied his every move, the tone of his voice. I'm sure to those who were passing by I looked like a love sick woman staring at "her man" but in truth it was the exact opposite. The waitress came by and took our orders. When she left Caleb turned to me. "So are you going to tell me what bothering you?" He asked suddenly. "What do you mean?" I asked him like I had no idea what he was talking about. "You've been off since the last experiment. I just want to make sure you're okay" He said with a kind shrug. It took everything I had to keep a calm straight face when responding. "No just a little headache but I get those after each one remember" I said with a soft smile. All the best lies have a seed of truth in them.

After we finally got our meal it was show time. Caleb slowly got up with the bill and went to the bathroom like we had agreed on. After about five minutes I got up as well and joined him. He went into a bathroom stall and stripped his clothes and tossed them into the next stall where I was waiting. I shifted into him and put the clothes one. It felt disgusting to be him after what I had learned by I had to do this. Caleb came out of the stall in his boxers and smirked. "Damn this blows my mind every time" He said shaking his head. I returned the smirk and replied back in his voice "Well get used to it". His smile widened at that and he gave me his wallet. "What's the pin?" I asked before walking out the door. "5261" he replied and I walked out the door. I walked up to the cashier and paid the bill.

Now it when the real plan was going to be put into action. I walked back to the bathroom and it was locked. Caleb probably did that so no one would walk in on us after. I teleported in and he jumped for a second. "Jesus, you about gave me a heart attack" Caleb said clutching his chest. He stopped when he saw the expression on my face. "What happened?" He asked. "One of my power from the fairy experiment is telepathy Caleb" I began and I could see the color draining from his face. "I know you were the one who killed my parents and then kidnapped me." I finished. Before he could even say a word I was at his neck with my fangs bared. I drained every last drop from his body and he collapsed with a thud. I wiped a bit of blood running down my chin with a satisfied smirk as I stared down at him. I placed a hand on his should and teleported us to a forest. I was able to bury his body very deep so he wouldn't be found. I teleported back to the restaurant and left. I walked to the nearest ATM and withdrew two hundred dollars from Calebs account so I could get a bus ticket to my freedom.
