The car was quiet. I was able to think and plan while we drove. I called Katie, she was the pack-born rogue lieutenant for the collective near Daylight Moon. I let her know Lydia was headed to the lieutenant of the northernmost region of the Eaten Heart as a rogue. She said she’d have Queen Bellamy’s lieutenant make a note of her arrival. I was grateful Katie still treated me like a friend even though I joined a pack. It made everything go more smoothly. Vanessa held my hand as I drove and it calmed me.
