After Lydia pushed me away, I had to go after her to see what was going on, although I just wished she would just disappear into the world.
Lydia stumbled down the road in her bare feet, not looking like a normal person. I deliberately slowed down to see where she could go. The big deal was to pretend to have lost her by accident and let her disappear, just like I did when I was six years old.
A car came speeding by from a distance and Lydia didn't do anything to avoid it as if she didn't see it.
