Chapter 12Lydia's POV
Just when I felt like my lungs were about to explode, my brain was starting to run out of oxygen, and my whole body was about to suffocate, Connor finally got off my body.
I covered my chest and greedily gulped in fresh air as my body began to feel paralyzed, like a small needle stabbing. My ears also seemed to be blocked, losing contact with the outside world, unable to hear outside sounds.
It took me a while to get over the lack of oxygen, only to hear Connor laughing frivolously next to me. "Looks like you haven't kissed that brat yet, you can't even change your breath."
I stared at him, too angry to say a word.
