Damn! I had never expected their words to hit home the way they did. I became uncomfortable and adjusted myself to the chair I was seated on.
“What are you talking about? I have feelings for Brianna. You must be kidding me!” My eyes were flickering incessantly as those words flew out of my mouth.
Diego and Killian both had their eyes fixed on me, and I could see the disbelief in them. It irked me so much that they weren't going to trust my words.
