How was it possible that I didn't notice it all this time? Perhaps I was blinded by my feelings for Brianna and didn't notice there was no opening for me in her heart.
She had acted all cool and even defended me before Ares, but a few minutes of thought had managed to open my eyes. It was evident that Ares was in love with her but was too hot-headed to even admit it.
