BRIANNA'S POV
I jerked awake and was panting with bated breath. My heart was thumping against my chest as well.
My eyes ogled at the whitewashed ceiling before me for a few seconds, and then I turned my head sideways. I was flabbergasted and couldn't believe my eyes.
What was I doing on the same bed with Ares? How was it possible, and I didn't seem to be putting any clothing on? My brows furrowed a bit, and then it snapped within me.
“Geez! Did this really happen?” I yelled within me, clutching my head with both hands. I wanted to yell at the top of my voice, but doing that would only awaken that proud moron.
I wasn't sure I wanted to hear his voice or even behold his stupid face. The embarrassment sizzling through me knew no bounds.
