Jacob's eyes widened, disbelief flashing across his features like lightning in a summer sky. "Are you serious right now? Why are you even bringing that woman's topic between us? Evelyn, tell me what happened. I want to know. Did she say something to you?" His hands reached to touch me but I refused to relent, my grip on his jaw tightening, pushing his head against the sofa cushions.
"If you don't prefer her ass, then prove it to me now," I demanded, my breath hot against his lips, the heat of our proximity igniting a primal hunger within us both. "f**k me, right now."
I felt the tension ripple through his body, his bulge pressing against me. In that charged moment, there was no room for doubt that he was already more than just ready to do what I'd asked him to do.
