Chapter 56 The Jenner business companyThe next day, when Arien got up she didn't see Devian in the room.
She got up and something caught her sight. It was a small chit on the bedside table.
It was written "Mrs Lyle, I'm out for business. It was urgent so I didn't get a chance to tell you. I'll be back till evening. Have your breakfast."
Arien smiled and kept the note carefully. Just as she turned around the phone rang.
"You're up?" It was as if he had already known.
"Yes" she said with a smile. "Have you kept spies around me, Mr Lyle?"
"Maybe" he replied. "You have to eat your breakfast before doing anything. I'll return by evening."
"Okay." She replied.
"Then hang up. I've something to deal with" he said.
Arien could sense his smile from his tone.
"Then I'll hung up first." she
